I had my MOT completed at Quest Braintree and I was thoroughly dissatisfied. The car was an older car but seeing the decent reviews I thought they would do a good job. I had told them about an error light and said it was most likely the sensor. It seems instead they decided to change the whole exhaust. This didn’t help with the warning light and instead left it with a horrible sound. I immediately went back and told them about the sound and they said it should settle down. The next day it was the same, so I went back. They had a quick look and said that was the best they could do and I was left with a horrible sounding car. I did go to another garage, that was able to fix the noise in 5 minutes and fortunately didn’t charge me for it. I will not go near this company again.

Excellent dealership, sales team were honest and helpful. Especially Paul who I dealt with from reserving online to viewing and purchase. Car was prepped in very good time.

My car was collected and returned by Warren. As I live in Burnham on crouch it is quite a journey to Braintree since the Maldon branch was closed.

We have been customers of quest for many years and in that time have been treated well, the staff are all friendly and go the extra mile to help. We travel from Hoddesdon so that I think says it all.

Lee, the person I deal with when I bring my car in, is always so pleasant and explains fully to me any extras that need doing over and above the service/ MOT. As well as the service my car was returned beautifully cleaned. Lee even had a go at trying to polish out some scratches I had on the drivers door which was very kind.

My husband bought our car in at 8.15 am . We tries ringing at 1.45 and 3,00pm The MOT was carried out but I was unable to contact the service department as the phone kept cutting to answer phone.

I had a very protracte MOT that resulted to two vivits to Quest and a second 8 am appointmen. Because of a duplicated appointment clash which would have meant me having a long wait, I gifted a vehicle for the day, which allowed to go about my business and not wasted the entire day. Thank you Quest, and inspite of living in Maldon, some 30 minutes from Quest, I shall continue to use them and their first class service.
