“I think the name of the site is a it misleading... they dont search for quotes, just pass on your phone number to one of the small number of brokers behind the site. The broker I spoke to was very helpful but said they did not get any details from Quotesearcher.. he had to go and find an email. He descried Quotesearcher as "a necessary evil" for getting leads. Really just a list of broker phone numbers and their specialisations would be just as useful.
The end result was fine, though.”

“The web page was easy to use & yes I did get phone calls, the people on the other end of the phone were polite & had a good understanding of insurance policies, I would not call these phone calls 'hard sell' because I didn't find them intimidating in the least, they each gave me a quote for which I thanked them & said goodbye - if some people find them to be hard sell, learn to say thank-you & goodbye. An on-line quote would have been wonderful but the details necessary for an accurate quotation would have taken up several more pages & I for one would have given up before the end.”
