“As a vegetarian, love these meals! Don't need to supplement with dehy vege as so many included. My only wish is that you formulate compostable instead of single-use packaging; I would rather tip contents into billy and avoid huge amount of waste created by packets - thanks”

Hi Stacey, sustainability is one of Radix's core values and we are always looking for ways to improve our packaging. Currently, our meals are recyclable under soft plastics recycling schemes in NZ. We continue to search for more sustainable packaging options however we must take into consideration the elements in which customers often take our food and the importance of packaging in maintaining a safe shelf life for freeze-dried products. “FANTASTIC - really enjoyed the Mexican Beef Chilli dinner and tried also both breakfasts - all in the Ultra range. Breakfasts are tasty and also really keep your body going for several hours of tramping - I highly recommend Radix.”
