“I ordered the variety pack and 2 big bags of coconut and vanilla. I was super hopeful, but every shake is super foamy and unpleasant to drink :( I don’t know how I’ll get through it all. I’m mixing with water…”

“I had previously had meals from Radix for a tramping trip years ago, but the recipes have changed since then. I found the basil pesto and smokey barbecue inedible... made me want to vomit and to throw them out... so glad I got some to try before my next tramp. Only reason I have given 2 stars is because of the packaging, speedy delivery and handiness of the actual product. And Peri-Peri was slightly more edible than the others. Still would recommend trying an alternative brand.”

“I just spent 4 days in the Tararua's living entirely off the products. From a nutritional point of view I have no issues. However to be brutally honest, they taste horrible, The only one that was passable and quite enjoyable was the Chillie. All the rest just were wrong from a flavour perspective. Also, some Chunks of meat in them would have been good. But it had the consistency of a packet of Salsa Verde Tuna and Quinoa, with lentils and peas. Also peas in the Chillie which is just a no no.”

“3 day package bought, in general meals were small in size to the competitors lacking in range and despite following instructions meals were chewey, when compared around the hut table with fellow trampers back country was a step above your product. Breakfast was especially disappointing.”
