“I won't say that this is typical, because I suspect it is not, but my order was billed but never processed. On business day 9 of the 3-5 day delivery projection, I called to inquire as to my order, which is when I learned the above. As time was, by that point, of the essence, I requested that my erstwhile order be overnighted.
Turns out that 'overnighted' still means 3 full business days.
Customer service was polite and supportive, and the product does exactly what it says it does, but these delays have cost me two weeks, now. Not a positive experience.”
Thank you for initially bringing the delay in process to our attention! It helped us discover that our orders processing system flagged your order as suspicious and possibly fraudulent but did not notify us. Once aware, we took action and shipped your order "UPS Next Day Air" on 12/14/2023. According to the tracking number, your shipment then encountered delays in transit with UPS.
We are sorry to discover this.
Please know that the issues you have experienced are atypical, and not a reflection of the high-standard service we provide to the 1,000's of our customers worldwide.
“My First Time Using Rain Guard Sealer.
I must Say I Am Pleased With This Product And Will Be Using It Again..
The Water Is Beading Up Very Well, Great Product.I Rate It Five Stars.”
“I ordered from you because you promised a 2-day delivery. I ordered it on October 2 and I am sitting here at 10:00 PM on October 5 with no product. I absolutely needed that product today.”
According to the tracking number, your product has been in the possession of the USPS since October 3rd with an expected delivery date of Friday, October 6.
“Product easy to mix and apply, but even after multiple (2, initial, plus one additional after 6 months) applications, the ground contact rated pressure treated deck does not appear to be quite what I would consider waterproof. But the wood looks great, the natural color is excellent, and I just bought another 5 gallon concentrate to continue applications annually, if not more frequently. This is certainly better than other products purporting to protect exterior wood surfaces.”
Thank you for your purchase and review of our Wood Sealer penetrating water repellent!
Our product is designed to remain 100% vapor permeable to allow for the evaporation of moisture within the surface.
On horizontal surfaces, this permeability will allow for roughly 1.5% of pooling surface moisture to be pushed through the product after approximately 15-20 minutes.
As a result, you may experience a slight degree of surface darkening after this period of time.
Thanks again!
“It seem that rain guard to be working well after the application. It does look like anything has been put on my concrete driveway but let rain. You will see water bead up. It works as advertised. When it states it covers 1000 sq feet. They are right. My driveway was 1200 sq feet therefore I had to buy 5 more gallons. That gave me enough for a second coat.”
