“we are unable to change the addresses when ordering online, we need to be able to do this as we have more than one uk site, the goods are not always for the stoke office.”

“Where the product is in stock, everything works well. Pricing is good in general. Be aware the technical advice is slightly better than useless. Data shown on the web site is often innaccurate or even incorrect. You can get the situation where parts are substituted for 'equivalent' but find this in not quite true. for example boxes with shade differences and even different materials! Their standards are adequate for the education and hobby markets. for industrial and manufacturers, care needs to be taken.”

“Stock levels do not seem to be very high so most of the time the items you try to purchase are on back order. it then takes a week or two for the item to arrive.”

“Goods arrived and a card was left to go to Menzies to collect package. The staff at Menzies were helpful, in part, but only one person on duty and he found it difficult to cope with the polite patient lady in front of me as he could not find her parcel. He took five minutes to find mine.”

“First order with Rapid arrived in tribs and drabs over about a week. Second order we are still waiting delivery after 6 days. Prices are very competitive but service is very slow its OK if you are not in a hurry. As a business user its not to great. For a reliable guaranteed supply of electronic components you need RS, Farnell or CPC etc but it will cost more. You get what you pay for.”

“Box and packaging was huge for a small camper van key ring - which I suppose was protective but involved the delivery company coming twice to deliver. The kit does not contain instructions or a key ring to mount it on so I considered it to be poor value for money as it was quite expensive at best part of £10!”

“The battery I purchased for a golf trolley was competitively priced and delivered promptly but was not the exact specification shown on the website - I was able to adapt the wiring of my trolley to suit so didn't send the battery back - life's too short and I probably wouldn't use this supplier again.”

“UK stock - Good delivery time, but to wait for something that is marked as being held in a European Warehouse is a bit of a pain. Made even worse because they discontinued the UK stock of the same thing!”

“Goods were as described and well priced. The website was very slow and clunky. P&P quite expensive for a small packet, with no option to use The Post Office, so at the mercy of couriers - not ideal for a single person, as no local collection possible in my location for a missed delivery. Otherwise, reasonable service for a small order (under £20 value inc. VAT). I would use this retailer again, though probably not as first choice.”
