“Great upgrade from the glass carafe that came with the Ratio. Frankly I'm surprised it took five years to break the glass one -- it's tall, and I am clumsy. The day finally came, and I upgraded to the thermal carafe with ceramic dripper. The generic filters sit higher in the new carafe, so there is less coffee splashing on the countertop during brewing. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot longer, and the pour spout doesn't drip. Great upgrade!”

“I bought the ratio 6. It was awesome. Everything I want in a home brewer. I only do pour over, but if I have company this is the best way to make batch coffee for guests. I could not tell that it was refurbished. Feels brand new.”

“Marked improvement. Definitely worth the coin. I was fine with the old carafe much like I was fine with wearing glasses. Then I got lasik. This new carafe is the lasik of coffee pots.”

“The ultimate 'Form Meet Function' coffee brewing company. I've tinkered with the pour-over Ratio 8, and the heat holding Ratio 6 - and have enjoyed outstanding coffee from each! I much appreciate the ability to make a coffee by which hot water doesn't touch plastic on the way from beans to lips - the 8 is perfect for such a task. It is hard to find coffee machinery that is not plasticized, and even harder to find Made in USA options. Bravo Ratio!”
