“I had high hopes for resin8 deep casting resin. Unfortunately my whole project turned out with a yellow tinge after following instructions down to a t. I've worked with other resins before and never had this issue. It also ruined my mould by discouloiring it and leaving it dull. Shame really”

Hi there, We're sorry you felt the need to leave a poor review after our conversations about this issue. As we talked through with you previously, this issue was caused by you mixing our fill-it Slowcure Resin with another brand of resin that was not meant for casting. Different resins have very different properties and are not meant to be mixed, doing this is bound to lead to disappointing results which are not down to the resin itself. As also covered in our conversations, the yellowing effect has been caused by your use of a non-casting resin in the piece. As the other brand of resin is designed to be used as a thin coating, when it is used for deep castings it will build up a lot of heat as it cures, this has caused your flower to yellow and release this colour into the resin. “Great product. I got the slow cure - 48 hours to completely hard. I love that at 36 hours I was able to demolish and move my piece into the shape I wanted (folded round a bottle).”

“A problem Guys. The products are really awesome thank you. 4 of the pigments and 2 of the mica power, were opened, spilled, and they were are over the nylon bags, making a huge mess, to the other containers. Bottom line is that i couldn't really use the pigments and especially the mica power, that as soon as i opened the bags, went literally everywhere🤔. So the sealing of the tubes was not good, or either something went wrong. I had a loss of almost €20,unable to use those products. The products though are really super cool and i loved them. Please be careful next time with your packaging, or sealing the products better. Thank you”
