After selling five guitars and buying two on Reverb I have to say that they are very disappointing as an organization. 1. Their fees are very high with cloaked costs like a 4.19% fee for processing a buyer’s credit card. When you add all the costs you might get shocked at how little remains of the sale price. 2. In my case they sat on my funds for well over two weeks, even after the guitar was delivered and my buyer confirmed receipt and gave me five stars. I believe they profit from these delays by using their client’s money to garner interest for themselves. 3. They seem to make up new policies to suit their desire to sit on “pending funds”, and these policies are not clear when one begins the process. I will never use reverb again and warn others against them

Poor management. Sent my products to the wrong location. I paid with PayPal which displayed my local address. Then said my address issue is my fault. I was told to be concerned about quality of product they send you. Don't order anything from them.

Happiness team ? Are unable to use a telephone it seems Purchased ARTIST 20 WATT TWEED Amp Looked great comparison sites sound very good Light weight valve amp.Tracking sent message Goods Shipped to arrive Shortly. As it was a Aussie amp I took note to mean Shipped After s few days informed amp left at cottage down the way from our bungalow .A Mr Jones took amp 1 there is no one at address well known to us 2 due to previous issue not really safe to collect 3 Could see the cardboards box left on bench under a veranda Tha did not fully protect It 4The amp had been dumped there for 4 days in sub zero ,and driving rain ,sleet weather 5 did manage to get amp back from This unauthorised delivery 6 Amp On clean channel Sounded like a blackn decker drill 7 damp was obvious the problemb 8 The happy team at reverb Said I must retrieve amp Normal procedure if no answer to leave goods 9 no signature signed by this fictitious Mr jones!!!!!! 10 Reverb happy team wanted pics of amp ,And settings of controls I used 11 Reverb informed no visable damage Have had over 45 years of owning,and playing valve amps. 12 my phone basic not able to send pics 13 To to return must have : 2 stickers sent by email.printed and attached to box 14 mmm unable to Print Duh 15 if no stickers their delivery team who were unable to recall to zMr Jones.would charge me £20 handling FEE!!!! 16 approx Over 15 emails Sent 16 Finally after outlining that The Happy Team said a replacement .or repaired amp not appropriate That consumer act Regulations not offered Parcell force not happy team collected Now awaiting rebate , if handling fee took out My bank more than willing to get back. These dimwits are placing "sellers" with almost zero sales above serving those of us with a hundred successful sales. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They are a rip off and have flat out LIED to me.

Never do business with this website...they had me transfer funds in order to protect the buyer. Resulted in a scam because there is no phone number to call and verify the communication. Their chat bot is ineffective. Doing business with Reverb proved to me that I was the sucker for trusting the site.

Never received my item or a refund. I reached out to the seller and company and my issue still have not been resolved and they even stole money off my credit card.

Reverb Buyer Protection does not exist. They make it seem like they have your back and will take care of you if things go wrong. COMPLETELY FALSE. The Buyer Protection is nothing more than Reverb bullying the third party until they comply and then,...maybe.

Absolutely repulsive, I filled in all my information from the beginning with my credit card information as it was disclosed that my earnings would go straight to my bank account. I understood their percentage fee, but then, after the transaction of selling my equipment, there’s always red tape with extra charges and processing fees. When I went to see if my money was deposited in my bank account connected to my credit card, nothing was there. So it took me a while to find out where my earnings were on the reverb settings and they wanted me to go through a third-party PLAID to get paid, so I would have to add in my bank account information again!!!! I was so discouraged that I pretty much deactivated my account! I would not recommend this company for selling any kind of music equipment and I’m glad I took the rest of my listings off!!

Reverb STOLE $285 from my account for no reason and refuses to redeposit it! I sold a keyboard to a gentleman but the listed shipping quote was less than the actual cost so at reverb request, I initiated a partial refund in the amount of the shipping cost as the buyer decided to arrange his own shipping. Reverb had not yet released the funds from the sale to me and assured me I would not be charged because they were still in possession of ALL the funds. An hour later they withdrew the shipping refund from my account! I’ve since cancelled the order and gave the gentleman a full refund and they still won’t redeposit the money they stole from my account!! So essentially they profited $285 from a sale that NEVER happened! They are thieves and I would not recommend selling you gear on there! You thought Craigslist was a hassle? Wait till you start selling on Reverb!

I have nothing good to say about Reverb. Their costumer service "SUCKS" ( sorry for the poor language) but that's how I feel. The guitar was not as the description stated at all and I was not able to talk to anyone about the guitar. I was unable to get a refund and response from them. Had to get the guitar repaired which was a further expense. Don't buy anything from Reverb unless you want to lose your money and be disappointed ☹️👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I purchased a guild Starfire one from Pro audio star on. Reverb said they shipped it with FedEx. FedEx said they tried to deliver, which was a lie. Waited for three days kept telling me it was gonna be here. nothing came contacted Reverb to put in a refund request. They sent me an email saying when I get the item send it back and I would get a refund. How can you send something back you never got. thank God I went through PayPal put in the refund request through PayPal. Still waiting to find out what’s going on. They ship the guitar back to Ohio. Reverb kept telling me to cancel the PayPal thing I wouldn’t do it now they’re trying to send back to Salt Lake City again telling me they tried to deliver again email six minutes later the email read that it’s been delayed again. The sellers and Reverb are nothing but scammers there will be a class action lawsuit filed if anybody wants to join stay away from pro audio star.

Just try to call someone, can't be done, I spent 1 hour on there chat on a issue we could resolve in min, on the phone, I now waiting for an e-mail as they cant figure out how to pay me the money I am owed on a sell of a product. this has been going on for 2 days. that's why I suspended my account as poor historic service. I use to love going through Reverb bought and sold a lot of stuff, but this is ridiculous. cant answer the survey because I have no answers other than let them keep my money.

You'll sell something and someone will come back at you saying something is wrong with the item, when nothing is, and Reverb will almost always side with them. Worst experience selling something online I've ever had going through them.

The site is been infiltrated by scammers. All I do all day is field scam offers and Reverb does nothing to help me. This site sucks bigtime.

Reverb has tons of bad reviews. I can attest to Reverb having the most Fake and Disgusting Service. If it wasn't for a seller making good on their word, I sincerely doubt that reverb would have make good on theirs. Thank you to the seller! Reverb can CLOSE UP SHOP & DISAPPEAR. THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED UP.

They will take your money. Then they say order not complete, as payment can’t be processed. You will then go to a help chat for an hour. No one is comming. Hang up. FRAUD!!!!!! Shop elsewhere!!!

Ordered a Marin Uke advertised "in excellent condition". Luthier won't try to set it up, neck needs reset, bridge has been badly glued. Two months no response. I guess I'm out $400.00. Don't trust Reverb!

Selling on this site is a complete nightmare because so many buyers are scammers or want free stuff at your expense. Though, the real problem comes down to getting paid. They take forever, & by that time it gives the buyer plenty of time to make up a bs story, either to get a refund, remove any feedback you left them to make it seem like they're the perfect buyer, or just never actually pay you to begin with, even after the item is in transit or delivered. This platform is an entire scam. Don't sell on it! I'm most likely going to get a lawyer, if I don't see my money by Friday night. They claim they don't pay until an item ships out, but that's bs. As a seller you should get paid upfront like all of the big box retailers do on the spot after you hand over your card. Their customer service is also none-existent. It's all about money & working with the person that bought from you, but if there's anything wrong, then they apparently immediately side with the buyer. They only have a chat support, so that should be all the more reason to avoid this site like the plague~
