“The lady I spoke with was very helpful and we completed the renewal very quickly. Only problem is that I am in Cyprus and to ring on anything but 0044 is expensive. Maybe you could provide an overseas telephone number - like the banks and other financial companies do that I use. Apart from that all was good.”

“Always had polite customer service, even if I am feeling cross and fed up with having to wait so long to speak to someone to cancel or renew my policy, (this is one downfall). Cannot comment on how they would deal with any claims, but would like to think it would be quick and straight forward and that the claims line would not take so long to connect to an advisor!”

“Having been insured with RIAS for several years now, I have not had any reason to change. However, this year my renewal cost had increased by about 30%. On querying this, it was immediately reduced, giving a quote of £179.40, reflecting a rise of about 5%, this being perfectly acceptabe in the current economic climate.”
