I was very satisfied with the savings I made compared to my last insurer. I should add that part of the saving was due to making a lump sum payment rather than monthly direct debits. The interest rate charged by the last insurer was horrendous. Thanks also for good service during my application for insurance.

The website was unclear regarding accident fault inputting, which resulted in an inaccurate premium being provided and had to be increased at a later date. Additionally, I was advised that we didn't need to provide proof of NCB and just to keep hold of the document when it arrived, so placed no urgency on chasing it up with my last insurer and then received a letter and phone call indicating it was needed within 14 days. When received I forwarded on a Schedule, it was rejected as it had to be a NCB Letter and I explained that it might be difficult for me to receive and send a copy of this within the 10 days that remained as it was Christmas week and mail was slow. This said, my last insurer advised me that normally companies will call each other directly to confirm such matters, and since both The AA and RIAS are underwritten by AGEAS, I presented this solution, but was informed by RIAS that they do not do any ringing around. The issue has now been dealt with, however, I confirm that I shall not ever be using RIAS again and will advise my friends accordingly too.

the practice of giving a higher renewal price than one that can be got on line means that you are loosing customers. that is the reason i went to another company

I am still waiting for a refund of the Insurance Premium Tax, which according to the Insurance documents I received it was charged. As you know here in the Isle of Man this charge does not get charged on Insurance Premium's, I have noticed from my Bank account this charge has not been refunded yet since November 2015. My previous company paid the refund right away, so I'm sure this has been an over sight on records.

Everything I asked about was explained to me in detail. I would certainly recommend your company. However it is only when you need to make a claim that we could then give you feedback.

As I'm a new customer I can't comment on things like making a claim, which I hope I don't have to. But from the experience I have had to date Rias seem very efficient, kept me informed right from the beginning. Very easy to apply online. The price compared to my previous insurer is very reasonable. Up to now very happy with Rias

Have previously been a RIAS customer. Things have changed in that new documents are not sent by post, computer online system takes a little getting used to for me as a retired customer. However, all personnel I spoke to were very helpful and keen to assist. Keep up the good work.

At first glance of my renewal notice my premium seemed to have gone down. Then I realised that some of the "options" I had had with my then current insurance had been omitted from your quote, and when added back in made for a substantial increase. However your price still faired quite well when compared to others BUT, had it not been for a poor response from the two cheapest insurers I would have switched to one of them. What I did not like was your failure to quote me for a renewal of the policy I had including the options, as this could have led to me renewing without realising I did not have the full cover that had previously existed.

We are surprised that payment was taken on the 29th December when the insurance cover does not start until the 16th January.
