“It was with regret I found that I could make a substantial saving on your renewal invitation by purchasing a new policy through " compare the market". I contacted your call centre to discuss this and was disappointed with the negative response . The attitude was along the lines of " if I found it worth the trouble to save what amounted to aprox'10% that was up to up to me" guess what I did ? I have no qualms about insuring with RIAS but I trust your customer service, should I need it is better than my recent experience .”

“Quite a user-friendly website. once insurance chosen, confirmed in an email however I was unable to open or print the documents. I emailed RIAS and received a reply to advise they would post the documents to me.”

“Took a bit longer than anticipated with several phone calls and 2 e mails replied to. Very pleased with amount charged for insurance, especially when compared to other quotes from other insurers. WShy such a huge difference in prices? Doesn't make sense!”

“My old insurance was with Ageas through Castlecover which I know are all part of the same company! Trying to get my NCD cover moved across was and is an uphill struggle. Couple of points: My Ageas insurance policy doesn't run out till 10th January, but I am changing my cover as I have a new car. My monthly payment on my old policy was around £17 a month with one more month to run, To cancel this policy meant I had a £50 fee to pay! Plus i can't transfer my NCD till 10/1/16 (which I understand) I have been told this only requires a phone call! As I am out of the country at this time, this will prove costly and inconvenient and I only have a 4 day window to make this call. I work in a remote area abroad and can not always get to a phone unless it is a satellite phone, costs are astronomical through these means especially when i am on hold for around 10 minutes at a time. As this survey is about making things easier for the customer! I await an easier solution.”
