I have had Robo form for a number of years & in the past year I am noticing that I do not have the pop up when I would like to add a new contact. I have been trying different things and now so confused not knowing which way to go with all of this. should I uninstall & start over? I really need some help with this and not sure where exactly I should go. I am wondering if it is to my benefit to discontinue this and keep my passwords on a special sheet of paper.

We assume you're referencing logins and not contacts, but to be sure, if you can please submit a ticket using our online support center, a representative will certainly assist. We do see you submitted a ticket back in October and a response was issued. If this problem is still persisting, please feel free to respond back to that ticket or to issue a new one. Thank you.

I have been very happy with RoboForm over the many years that I have been a devoted user. However, when my main (Laptop) computer failed and was reported as unrepairable, I have been challenged by the difficulties I am trying to deal with. Of course, I purchased a new computer and purchased new RoboForm software. Of course the new computer came equipped with Windows 10 including the new Internet "E" so I had to install Google Chrome because I had used that service many years also. RoboForm was said to be Incorporated with both of the Internet interfaces, but it does not integrate easily. I hope I can still use the integrated software instead of using the Independent version of RoboForm Everywhere. I would like guidance on how to get RoboForm incorporated In "E" and Google Chrome - to save time.

Hello Hugh, thank you for your review and for your questions! For the time being, Chrome supports the full RoboForm feature set while Microsoft's new Edge browser does not. I thought RoboForm lost all my data at Firefox 57 update. So I tried others, including LastPass, Sticky Password and Dashlane. All were worse, requiring more clicks, or missing essential features like Save Page, or more ambiguous about what's happening. So I re-installed RoboForm 8 and everything worked fine, all my data was intact. My mistake was upgrading to RoboForm 8 from the Firefox app market, not the main RoboForm site.

I have been using RF for years until suddenly after update to RF8, I cant use it any more to login. I have been using RF free as I thought it has unlimited login for my desktop. Now RF is forcing me to buy??

Hi there - thanks for taking the time to reach out. The login credentials for RoboForm 8 are your email address and Master Password. If you're unable to log in using these credentials, please contact our technical team so they may troubleshoot. They can be reached by submitting a ticket here: https://www.roboform.com/php/rtss/main?lang=en Regarding the upgrade messaging, if you're using RoboForm for Free, you will occasionally receive popups notifying you of your eligibility to upgrade to a RoboForm Everywhere subscription. You do not need to upgrade. Please also ensure that you have turned off the automatic sync feature by clicking on the RoboForm icon >> Sync >> unchecking "Automatic Sync."

There's so many annoying things about RoboForm. I have made several requests to support which they simply ignore. I really dislike that they don't show all logins on a single page. I was forced to do a new subscription even though I paid for it in the past. I wanted to switch to another password manager but I just have too many saved passwords that I didn't want to recreate.

Hi John - we're very sorry to hear of your frustration and we apologize for any lack of communication on our end. We do see some tickets from back in October where you were working with our technical support team regarding a specific request, which was passed along to our development team for consideration. While we cannot guarantee all requested features will always be added, we do always pass them along for consideration. And, even if they are not immediately added, that does not mean they will not be added in the future. Generally speaking, the greater the number of requests for a specific feature/function, the more likely it is to be added. Regarding your new subscription, according to our system you previously purchased a desktop license and then upgraded to a RoboForm Everywhere subscription. You can certainly continue to use RoboForm in desktop mode for free, but the Everywhere features/functionality do require a subscription. I have been using version 7 for many years. When they pushed version 8 through I downloaded it on 11/1/2017 as I have all the updated versions over the years. I always backed up my data from my pc documents to a flash drive in case of computer crashes. I noticed on 11/22/2017 when backing up my flash drive that none of the new passwords we're being saved. I worked diligently trying to figure out why they were no longer being saved to my pc's documents. I contacted support and was on hold for an hour then was forced to leave my name and number so they could call me back...never did. I left 2 support tickets for help, no reply as of yet 11/24/2017. I ended up loosing all my data and redownloaded version 7 then reloaded all my old passwords from my flashdrive. It took 9 hours start to finish figuring out the mess. I'm really dissapointed and considering using my Trend password manager. It would of been nice to have been given a heads up of the major changes before updating to 8.

I have been screwing around with this app for over two years now. I keep paying new membership fees only to just get another account that still won't work. I think I have about three or four accounts now, none of which will work. I contacted support to help me combined the accounts into one account that would work but they were no help at all. I don't know why I haven't left and given up before now but their support finally convinced me that I need to find another app. Don't waste your time and money Larry Fisher Rock Hill, SC

Have been having all the bad experiences in reviews I just read. Right now not working at all on Safari or Firefox. Have submitted a ticket a week ago with no response from support. Little bit of a hassle to change to another password manager, but there does not seem to be any other option. I recommend not signing up with Roboform until you check out the competition.

everything goes wron on this version. htaccess is randomly executed and is slower that version7, all is confusionary and sometimes it stuck - it's incredibly slower than previosu version..You should do something about it guys!

please give us the features of ver. 7 back!! I have been using the program for over 10 years now. How is it possible that there are no saved logins, when I ask for them? If I am not logged in, in advance, there is no chance of auto fill asking and so much more. I am really looking for something else already.

Stopped working with Safari ages ago now with the fiefox 57 you now need an icon on your toolbar and have to enter email address account password and then master password when you want to login to a site. Far too much to do now its a pain to use. Have reverted to Firefox 56 just to keep it working as it should. Probably time to move on to something else.

Hi Jay - To turn off the Master Password prompt when logging into sites, please click the RoboForm icon > Options > Security > and check the "Don't ask for Master Password" box. You can also increase the time listed for auto-logoff. Regarding any other issues you may be experiencing with Firefox 56 or Safari, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support team so they may look into the matter. I have loaded latest version of RoboForm and it is yet to perform properly. My phone [iPhone 7] No longer functions with auto fill. Despite efforts through a RoboForm technicians I said not yet thanks to function properly, despite efforts by RoboForm technicians it has yet to function properly. I am discouraged and disappointed with this version.

I purchased the program last week. Since then, I have dad problems I have not been able to overcome. I was able to get tech support on the phone one time. Every other time, I end up being forced to leave a message, Not one message has been returned, Oh and by the way, I bought the program. My advice to you is find a reputable company and purchase their software. Michael Lapp
