“I’m extremely disappointed with Royal Mail. I diverted my parcel to the local Post Office using their app, but they completely ignored my instructions and delivered it to the wrong address. Now my parcel is lost, and no one seems to know where it is. What’s the point of offering a diversion service if you can’t follow it properly? This is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability is frustrating. I expected better from a trusted service like Royal Mail. Will think twice before using them again.”

“It's an absolute joke! I requested my parcel to be delivered to the collection point so I can collect next day, as the original delivery day was Friday and I knew for a fact I won't be home for it. Friday comes, I receive a notification, we tried to deliver no one was in. No one was in??? Despite me asking to deliver to a post office, they still tried to deliver to my home. And now the app telling me I need to book a redelivery? Why? Why on earth I need to book a redelivery if I specified I want it delivered to the post office for collection and my instructions were not followed? Sort it out, Royal Mail.”
“ROYAL MAIL ARE A COMPLETE JOKE!!! I personally think that members of staff there are thieves! Because they seem to lose so many of our parcels.. And because the whole service is unorganised and the guys know this , no postman who delivers the parcels gets investigated when they lose them.. I have had the worst experience time after time and warn any body to not use Royal Mail .. HOW THEY HAVE A ROYAL CREST AGAINST THEIR NAME IS BEYOND ME.. They guy that was supposed to deliver my birthday present, scanned my parcel at 8.35pm on the 6th of November, in an area that wasn’t even my street, but nothing showed up as delivered, so by rights he should have returned it back to the sorting office . I contacted my local sorting office only to be told the parcel is lost and to contact the customer service for a claim.. THe manager even knew who the postman was that day who was delivering , so why wasn’t he investigated to where the parcel went after he scanned the dam thing .. ? So from scanning to his van, the parcel got lost.. I dnt think so, more like he did a crafty and stole the dam thing.. this is why so many of our parcels go missing , because no one in Royal Mail bothers to investigate their members of staff to find out why these go missing. Because they don’t give a dam.. when I rung customer services, the lady on the phone stated they are forever handing out refunds to so many people because of all the lost parcels .. Such a shambles and I would never use them ever again and hope they go bust .. I’m thinking of going to the papers over them because why should we all just sit back and let them get away with this?
Even when you put in a claim, it’s a long procedure, and that’s even if you get anything back , it can takes weeks and weeks.. SHAME ON YOU ROYAL MAIL… THIEVES!!!!!!!”

“Tried to request a cancel and refund on my collection item through the portal but each time I do I get an error. I’ve complained 3 times and every time they’ve told me to go back to the portal. Why is no one reading what I’m putting? I’m getting an error message so my refund cannot be processed. Surely there’s a backup plan? I work in software so there is always a backup plan but customer service are just lazy, probably because it’ll cost them more to process the refund than the cost of postage I bought. But if I don’t get refunded they’ve basically robbed me and stolen my money! Despite other couriers having bad reviews, their online processes are always easy to deal with, I’ve never know a service to be so incompetent.”
“I was supposed to receive a package through your service. The seller provided me with the tracking number and I found out on this occasion that you tried to deliver to the mentioned address 2 times. It is a lie because I did not receive any notification that there was any posted to the indicated address. “My mail constantly arrives open/ resealed on Sunday evenings and having the person climb over my neighbours fence in order to avoid my door camera. Bank statements. Voting information and council tax details all arriving open. eBay parcels which I paid to arrive on a named day. Not arriving. eBay contacting Royal Mail to track the parcels. Then, when it arrived five days late, it had being opened and resealed and delivery person had climbed over my neighbours fence in order to avoid my door camera. The customer rep, micheal, when I rang to complain was cursing down the phone, stating,” Jesus Christ”, and “ God almighty”. He was very rude, impolite very unprofessional and the auto bot THST had requested my feedback after the call, would not accept my rating if zero for customer service and repeated the questions until I gave a rating above zero. It then cut me off before completing the survey as I would not rate any of the experience above zero. I hope things improve with the American takeover. At least they know a thing or two about customer services.”
“I was waiting for a parcel for a whole day, the time frame was until 7:30pm, and then at 7:54pm I checked my tracking and it says that the parcel has been refused and will be returned to sender. What absolute time wasters. Now I have no chance to get the parcel due to time constraints.”
“Don’t bother leaving safe space delivery instructions (well within RM’s safe space policy) or deliver to neighbour instructions, they are ignored over multiple delivery attempts. You’ll then have the pleasure of needing to book a re-delivery, which like most people, you work week days so that’s already out of the window. Or going to their delivery offices with the really convenient opening times of 8am-10am. It’s so backwards, I don’t get it.”
“Royal Mail lost my delivery. On the app the delivery update read that my item was delivered to a safe place and said they left a card at my address with details of the safe place. I requested for this delivery to be made to the post office and have visited the post office severally and they don’t have my delivery. Royal Mail customer service claimed that the delivery has already been made and was to my post office even when the tracking update showed it was in a safe place. The customer service claimed that the app doesn’t show the exact delivery location but can only be tracked by them. The proof of delivery also is not my parcel as my parcel was in a brown envelope completely different from what shows on my tracking. They have refused to take ownership and insist that a delivery was made.”
“Utterly terrible customer service
Posted my iPhone in August to sell to a recycling facility. A week later it hadn't arrived so I tracked it and the tracking said, and still says, 'We Have It'.
I filled out the long and very detailed form as requested, and received an auto reply saying we'll get back to you, which they did a month later, 'We're still investigating your claim...' etc., ect.
Three weeks later I chased them up again and got another auto reply, then yesterday, over two months after posting the iPhone, I get an email saying, 'Sorry, you need to contact the business owner and confirm the phone is not there after seven days, for us to start an investigation'”
“Not to be left out their website fails also . Can't recognise password Can't reset password as it isn't able to send a n email with new password ,can't even complain complain about such. As their form appears impossible to fill in.”
