One arrived after 5 business days, the other still hasn't arrived after 7 business days. Tracking not working at all now. Waste of time and money.”

Booked a collection for 9 items, paid upfront, and scheduled for today. The lazy driver didnβt even ring the bellβjust outright declined the collection, falsely claiming I wasnβt home and lying on the documentation.
Not only was I home, but so were 3 other people plus the cleaner. I have proof. Yet, the audacity to claim, "Collection wasnβt completed because nobody was at home," is staggering. The moment I got the email to reschedule, I rushed downstairs, only to find no trace of the vehicle.
I called customer service, and after a 50-minute ordeal of waiting, I dealt with a disrespectful agent who hung up on me. Their lack of professionalism is shocking. All I got was a hollow apology and a complaint raised for nothing.
Now, Iβm stuck rescheduling each item one by one, losing over two hours trying to fix their mistakeβand letβs not forget, I PAID FOR THIS SERVICE.
Do yourself a favour: avoid this service entirely. There are plenty of private companies offering cheaper, more reliable alternatives.
This should be called disGRACE mail. Save "ROYAL" for something deserving of the title”

I waited in ALL DAY for a GUARENTEED delivery only to get an notification later in the day to say Royal Mail tried to deliver but no one was in. No one tried to deliver. I WAS HOME AND SO WAS MY HUSBAND. MY DOGS WOULD HAVE BARKED. No card was left either. I needed the item urgently. I AM DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. I will always use an alternative from now on. I won't use Royal Mail as my first, second, third or fourth choice again. If I could have given No Star Rating, I would have done.

“Royal Mail used to be a trusted postal service.
Now it's run by incompetent, inexperienced managers who haven't a clue about good customer service or how to treat staff with respect.
I have decided to never use Royal Mail again as it is now the worst delivery service.
In a series of poor service and performance,including deliberately ignoring the USO , they have now lost an insured parcel and refusing to pay compensation.
They have at least admitted that it was lost by them , or even stolen in the delivery office, as tracking proof has been provided.
Now despite all proof of value and cost involved ,they have given poor excuses why they shouldn't pay out.
I am going to take this to the very highest level to expose them and encourage all my customers never to use Royal Mail as they simply can no longer be trusted.
They have reached the very bottom of the ladder and will never give great customer service again.
It's cheaper and more reliable with rival parcel services now .”

“I had my newly purchased laptop sent by Royal Mail. After waiting all day (08/01/2025 ) I received a message stating that it had been delivered! & no accurate address information had been provided, which was totally unacceptable and wrong. I was assured that 3 attempts were going to be made but this is not the point. We needed this now and had made provision for you to deliver this. Now we have to do it again. We are a palliative care provider for cats and are busy. We need companies that can deliver as required and promised not breaking promises by letting people down. Problem is still ongoing.”
“the worst I have delivered my package to a locker for return to Lacoste and they have not replied to me with a confirmation email I don't even know where my package is, if it is still in the locker or if a postman has taken it and I am worried because I have paid a lot of money for it and I can't figure it out. “I simply wanted to return a parcel to Amazon for a refund arranged by Amazon. The first postie to collect failed to bring a label (instructions from Royal Mail stated that no returns label was required as they would provide one). I had to rearrange another collection date through Amazon returns. This time, the postie did bring a label. However, when trying to track the parcel for its return status, itβs now pending in a distribution centre.
The quality of service has been very poor, and nobody is taking responsibility. It feels like there is no pride in their work. This experience reminds me of Hermes, who were shocking. Such a shame, as Royal Mail used to be a company that could be relied on.”
“Christmas presents on Royal Mail 48hr delivery tracking service. Due for delivery on 19th December and as of 3rd January the gifts have still not been delivered. Terrible service and the tracking is no help at all.”
