“Hi Greig, the best review I can provide you with is the one I posted on the Cayman Ownwr Club site: I went to RPM Technik today for a new battery and to take advantage of their free Saturday morning surgery (for a donation to their adopted charity for injured service personnel Mission Motorsport). What at an impressive set up and what a great bunch of people that work there. The front of house service admin staff (Nadine) was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering me a brew whilst I waited for my car to be brought in to the service bay. Then I was left to freely roam the showroom and sit in every car there (I loved the 997 GT3 and the 981 GTS mmmmh 😏🤔😉), had a good long natter with the sales diretor Greig, and was then invited to inspect my car up on the ramp with Ollie. It it wasn't until after Ollie in his overalls and signature bandana had taken me on a tour of the underside of my Cayman that I discovered he's actually the company founder, who spends most of his weekdays in the office, but likes to get on the tools alternate weekends for the Saturday surgeries. What a top bloke. The facilities are impressive with a 5 ramp workshop, separate engine and gearbox refurb workshop a full (acid bath, hot tank, bead blaster) 'dirty room' workshop and a separate restoration and geometry workshop. Even though I'd taken her in for a battery replacement Ollie advised me that my existing one had life in it still and would probably be ok with a decent charge. Which I thought was brilliant rather than just swapping it out and charging me for it. However, I decided to err on the side of caution with winter looming and went for the change. Ollie advised that come service time next March I'd likely be looking at 2 new rear suspension control arms and a geometry check due to some uneven wear showing on the rear tyres. At no point did I feel like there was any hard sell, or pressure to 'book in for the work now'. The other customers I met were equally friendly and unpretentious. And to top it all there's a perfect 'greasy spoon' cafe on the industrial estate where I got a spot on full English and cuppa for £6.50 👍🏻. I will certainly be using RPM for my servicing next year, and I would recommend them based on my (limited) experience so far.”

“Overall, really impressed with RPM. I wasn't sure whether you would get the PF discs in time, but you did, and got the car ready in time for my track day. Thank you. Once small issue was the supply and fit of the new chin spoiler. In removing the old one, the separate front lip was not removed, and so was thrown away, meaning that new spoiler was fitted without it. As this component was undamaged, it's a shame no one thought to remove it and fit it on the new spoiler. A small detail, but getting the car back with a piece missing and no one mentioning it seemed a little remiss. Still, the main work was great, and the geometry has made a difference to the car.”

“I'm a 'Porsche Nerd' - this means I think I know everything and am hard pushed to pay anyone else to do a job to one of my cars that I think I can do myself. I'm heartened therefore to report that my most recent experience of the geometry set up on our torsion bar car was very effective on the road and track and cost less than expected - oh, I should also say that I couldn't have achieved this myself!”

“Service from RPM has been excellent - very prompt at looking at the car, advising on what needs to be done (and what doesn't need to be done) and working out a plan. Emails were promptly answered and all communications were polite and helpful, even when I surprised them collecting it at short notice. The new exhaust they advised on fitting is also brilliant fun!”

“The physical work they done on my way was top quality, they fixed the problems I had and was thourough with the rest of the car! Two slightly negative points, I didn't receive my complimentary bottle of oil and my wheels were still half dirty after the car wash. Overall very good though”

“Very knowedgeable team with excellent service. Underook a complete engine rebuild for me, took longer than planned for reasons outside of the RPM teams control but the final engine is fantastic down to the very last detail. My restored 964 sounds and drives brilliantly. Great after sales service too from Ollie and Lydia. So would I recommend them ? Absolutely, don't even pause for thought, they are the best at what they do and if you love your car....call them for a chat..”

“I spent several weeks researching the right company to bring my old Porsche back to life. In the end I selected RPM and was not disappointed. RPM took my sad 1985 3.2 that had not run since 2002 and turned it into a thing of beauty. They rebuilt the engine, gearbox, full body restoration and respray, new upholstery - the car is better than new. Ollie and the teams attention to detail and quality control is impeccable and I would not hesitate to recommend them for this type of work. Not all of the work is done in house, but the team of subcontractors they have assembled to support their projects all have the same ethos, love of Porsches and high standards that Ollie expects.”

Everyone at RPM are totally passionate about everything Porsche, always going that extra bit further to ensure your pride and joy is treated with the upmost care. There are many independents closer to home, however RPM's service level more than justifies the 300mile round trip!! Indeed having entrusted RPM to source & supply my latest Porsche.
