What went wrong absolute dispicable service they say they care they don't rang to say I could hear a dog been beaten inside an address they said because I hadn't seen the dog then it didn't meet there Criteria there a complete and utter waste time so now that dog has to live out his days suffering from abuse I hope they are proud of themselves I used to volunteer for these but I shall no longer I am utterly disgusted with this service.

The RSPCA do not bother to investigate neglect cases correctly. The amount of failings from them with my own case are terrible. I am disgusted and disappointed with them as they claim to protect and look after animal neglect. Unfortunately this poor animal will not survive and this will be on their shoulders. Do not waste your time calling them. They want you to do all the work ringing in and then don’t contact you with any updates. In the meantime the animal is still neglected

I phoned because a Labrador was caught up in chains could not get to food or water, I was told to speak to owner, which I would not do as they were not nice people and apparently he said he would shoot it if it carried in. No help at all

Phoned the RSPCA and explained that a dog needed to be rehomed and the person I spoke to was a waste of time because she said that it wasn't there problem because they said she was safe but tried to explain that we could get evicted out of property for having two dogs in the flat because the landlord only allows one in the flat. I thought that the RSPCA were there for animals, cared for animals and rehomed animals to a good home but they are an absolutely terrible.

I wish it was possible to give zero stars. There are so many charities with so much less/zero funding, relying on donations and going out at all hours, driving miles at 3am, spending hours out in the cold trying save these poor animals. Yet it is RSPCA only who can request police assistance, when they do little or nothing to help in the vast majority of circumstances. It is a crying shame that the RSPCA who can afford big advertisement campaigns to line the pockets of the people at the top are the only ones afforded any rights to remove animals. The majority of responses are all the same when you look at reviews, "we can only do so much, we can't break the law, blah blah blah" (copied and pasted in most cases from their general pre-agreed text) - most of us would go ahead and look after the clearly neglected/starving animals if we possibly could and worry about the consequences afterwards (probably defensible in cases of abuse/neglect!) Most call handlers are rude at best and the likelihood of someone actually coming out is minimal, however clear it is that an animal is in desperate need of help. There are amazing charities out there who daily demonstrate their selfless love for animals. Let's fund them instead.

Just got of the phone with them. Complained about a poor dog that is always crying and sounds like its in pain or being tortured. Asked if I had photos of the dog..yeh I will go on private property and do that for you.. that's there job DO IT.Gave them the address was told they don't have authority to go and check on the dog !!! WTF Told ME to call the police...it's not a police problem I thought the RSPCA were suppose to care about animals. They DON'T care at all...I am so angry my heart breaks for this dog.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE They keep asking for donations, but when it comes to it there not intrested. I've asked for there help on more than one occasion, and they pass the buck and advise you to contact other organisations. Actions speak louder than words. USELESS

I'd like to say that I was extremely happy with Dr Susan Herford for her knowledge and extreme professional attitude with my dogs as most dog people know they are our babies and you feel sick when they are unwell well I took both my dogs for their heart worm injections and my big boy had a problem with his eyes witch I had already seem a local vet about and noth $120 later still not right after going to the RSPCA and talking to Dr Susan my big boy was well the very next day from her course of treatment I'd like to say thank you Dr Susan and would highly recommend her and the RSPCA. Thanx.Chris Thapa.

Wow RSPCA maybe you should look at your review rate and change somethings. Your worse then the salvos you take money off people, get free animals given to you that need a home and charge a stupid amount for them. I use to support you for years and when I needed to find a home for 2 kittens (the rest a gave away just to give them a home not make money) I was told you have to many. Well no wonder when your charging $375 for a kitten and $800-1000 for a X breed pup absolutely ridiculous! And then you have the nerve to use my number to send me raffle tickets offers, jam it!

If anyone is looking to donate to help out animals, first check how much they pay their executives, bosses and advertising accountants, and you will see very little goes directly to the pets in need. RSPCA NSW also supports the Ariel shooting of brumbies in the snowy mountains.... selective with their help in many ways... check where your cash goes before donating here

I rang the RSPCA earlier to ask for someone to come and take a feral cat that was injured and lying in my shed. He said ‘Is it contained?’ I said, ‘It’s in the shed?’ He asked ‘Is the door open or closed?’ I said ‘Open, but I can close it.’ He said ‘is it in a cat carrier?’ I said ‘no, it’s lying on the floor injured’ he said ‘ you need to get it in a cat carrier.’ I said ‘I can’t. It’s feral and won’t let me touch it.’ He said there was nothing he could do as it could run off when their officers came. I said ‘it can’t run anywhere. It’s injured.’ He was adamant there was nothing they could do. If I had have been able to get it into a carrier, then I wouldn’t have needed the RSPCA. I’d have driven it to the vet myself. Unbelievable! The RSPCA should be renamed - WDGAM. We Don’t Give A Monkeys.

I was a registered pedigree breeder. I fed my animals well. Science, diet, biscuits, home-cooked, meals, clean, water, up-to-date with vaccinations and worming. They contacted me saying I had been reported for neglecting my animals. I rang the number on the card on my door. I asked them to clarify how I was reported as neglecting my animals? They said no water left out for the animals, matting of fur, malnourished, etc. I explained I have receipts from Petbarn to show how much money I spend on good quality food & worming & flea treatment products, and that my Animal don’t have long fur And their fur doesn’t Matt. After I chatted with her thinking I was talking to somebody normal. Her response was ‘ Thanks for telling me that.’. I thought that was strange. The next thing the Council came around, saying they heard complaints. They came into my home to do an inspection. They told me to change some areas. Because they did smell. I had cat Enclosures on Pavers. And the Pavers seemed to capture/hold the smell of Cat spraying. I paid two men, two dismantle the cat enclosure, dump, the pavers, relocate cat enclosure onto grass area. Vinegar and bicarb treated the area prior to a gurney job. Council came back to inspect. Appeared to be happy with the changes. Yet, I got a fine saying I had not addressed the areas that they had raised on their first inspection. They then issued me to remove/rehome all my animals. I appealed with Council and they rejected it and advised me to go through QCAT. I appealed through QCAT to have a stay on there Order. QCAT approved the stay and I had a scheduled court date to discuss with Council etc. Before the court date, Council and RSPCA, along with two police officers came into my house INGNORING the legal stay saying they didn’t interpret/understand the state to mean that they were not to come. They took all my animals except for two dogs and two cats. Some of my animals were pregnant. They stole value of over $100,000 worth of animals. There were around 10 people in my house at 7 am in the morning. The police officers kept me in the kitchen while RSPCA stormed through my house and put all my animals in cages. I refuse to let them in, but they push their foot in the door and barge their way in. They refuse to leave until I signed over the pets. They were there for 5hrs badgering me. They promised that I could rehome my pets. To contact them. I organised for many family and friends to take my animals. But when I called them the next morning they said you can’t have any of your animals back because we’re doing an investigation. I burst into tears & questioned what was going on, and they just hung up on me. They accused me of having sick animals that were riddled with worms & diseases. Yet I had the two dogs and cats they left with me fully Vet checked and stool samples taken The next day. All my remaining pets were in perfect health and documented by my Vet. They lied so they could profit from my pedigree animals and there offspring & justify their actions. The Council has their own legal department that knows exactly how to steal your animals and get away with it & Work in partnership with RSPCA. They get volunteers to look after these stolen animals, with heartbreaking stories that they were neglected/abandoned/abused. Then they sell them for their financial gain. They refuse to tell me where my animals went & refuse to let me visit them. I had a $5000 pedigree boy Cat. He Just vanished like my other cats and dogs. I consulted a private investigator. He advised me I was wasting my time. He was a retired Police Detective. He said they run a revolving door business. They take the animals and get rid of them before you can figure out what’s happened and you could never find them. There is a law that says that whatever the council does, that’s against the law, they will never be prosecuted for it. So basically they have freedom to do whatever they want, when they want and there’s nothing we can do about it. I finally got my Hearing date With QCAT. They said, because the animals aren’t around any more and I no longer live at my address. There is no case because I had asked for my animals to be returned to my home & it was no longer relevant. The amount of stories I heard from other people/breeders who had gone through the same experience, was astounding. RSPCA Pet Insurance… I wonder what that’s about. So Corrupt who’s got the money, the time or the emotional strength to seek Justice Oh, I nearly forgot to mention. All of a sudden this entire solid black cat kept hanging around my house, stirring up my cats at night, fighting through the cat enclosure with my boy cat. He did manage to get to 2 of my cats. I suspected he wasn’t a random stray cat. He was extremely strong and good looking. I wondered if he was deliberately let loose to cause havoc for myself. So the neighbours would complain, and they would have legitimate complaints coming in. Could be just my paranoia. The whole ordeal was traumatic to say the least.

RSPCA are "supposed" to be there for animals, but whenever you call them, they can't help with the issue. Not only that, but they won't listen or even make a note of anything you say, it's an absolute pointless waste of time. All you have to do is look at the higher-ups, they all drive fancy cars, great homes, etc., whilst they take donations from the public and put zero into actually helping people and their pets. Don't bother calling or donating to them, they're a massive scam.

Called multiple times for report of 30 starved horses just left in a paddock to die and rot and they didn't care because they state the property was " large enough" to get natural feed. Even that it's all dead and it's summer time. Half have died now just bones in the paddock
