“Having the worst time trying to get them to adjust my mortgage payment after I applied for homestead tax exemption and want my mortgage to reflect the new amount. For the last month and half they keep saying they have not received the documents that I have emailed numerous times and get an automated email confirmation that it’s been received. No one willing to help or investigate the matter.”
“I would rather it be -11 stars because I have been in a hamster wheel since COVID19 started in March with this company. They out source services and they simply sux at getting paperwork done. My paper work was lost by the requesting agency, and Santander decided to pile on to the complication by being a pain in my a$$ trying to get the paper work needed to proceed. E V E R Y T I M E I call I'm given another obstacle by Santander to complete before I can receive paperwork needed to register my vehicle in another state. I'm on hold for hours and no body seems to know what to do, nobody cares that i'm paying for a car *8 months* for something that I can't drive and can't register. But I bet as soon as I stop or miss a payment-they call blowing my phone up, sending emails, texting, contacting people about when can I get my payment in. No one there cares that you have to "figure out" how to get to work walking past a car that you pay for but can't drive. They say we need this from you. I do it. Now we need this, I do it, Now get that, I did. AND NOW THEY'RE TELLING ME THAT I NEED TO RE-DO BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FIND NOTARIZED PAPERS FUKKKKKKKKKKK an I supposed to do and another payment is due mid month. Explain that”

“I recently opened a credit card with SANTANDER. My account was frozen at my request when they they prompted me to a transaction which was over the limit that I had requested. This was good. However after the issue was resolved I attempted to reinstate my account. After numerous attempts over a 5 day period I decided to lodge a complaint. After 1 hour on the phone they still said I needed to do it myself and they could talk me through the process over the phone. I said that because of my hearing and physical disabilities this could not be done. They reiterated that this was the only option. I was therefore forced to close the account. Where is their policy on disability discrimination?.”

“Every time I get money out I then go in debt when I don’t buy stuff on my card. this has happened two months on a trot now but it’s with my old card not my new card. Something else like this happened when My mate was taking money out of my bank and got them done for fraud but the bank done nothing. I would call them up but have no documents to prove that I’ve just moved up to where I live so the bank won’t do anything. Absolutely disgusted got no words to say honestly not even happy with whoever’s taking money out of my bank read some other reviews and they said that the bank steal there money. my 86 year old mother wants a mobile phone to keep in touch with friends and family.long story short,her bank Santander won’t allow it as they have to send a code to her mobile for security.but of course it’s a mobile she’s trying to buy so she hasn’t got it yet for a code to be sent to.
Santander have blocked her purchase saying it could be fraud.
there is no way for her to buy a phone on contract while she is with Santander even though it’s her money and her choice.
they are beyond hopeless and I’m now going to help my mother change banks”
“Disgusting. Avoid at all costs. Froze my family's accounts after a £136 deposit. no access to money now for food or bills. cannot buy groceries or do anything. despicable way to treat a customer. ive been caught in their algorithm dragnet for suspicious payments (although it is not). so im now being treated as a criminal. FOS notified and complaint logged. Santander should be Fined (again) for treating people like this and letting genuine criminals escape. DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AT WILL.”
“Simply the worst bank ever. They have locked my account because of a misunderstanding and I cant access my money at all. I am working professional trainer and I'm being treated like a criminal which is not on. They won't tell me why my account is locked or when it will be unfrozen. As a diabetic I can't buy food because my salary is in my account and so I'm living off 17p BAKED BEANS. If I die, IT WILL BE ON SANTANDER AND I WILL LEAVE A NOTE FOR THE PRESS.
