“I am addicted and a collector of these beautiful recycled silk pieces. I now have 3 kimono dusters, a cardigan, 2 versatile vests and a buttery soft poncho. I also purchased some jewelry and a popcorn knit from this shop. The recycled silks are very well described and accurate but always more beautiful when seen in person. I gasped when I saw my last order. These silks are ethically made, recycled from vintage saris and help the elephants and support communities in India. I’ve only shopped online but would love to see the shop in person. All the silk pieces are one of a kind and I get many compliments when wearing them. Feel good on the inside and look spectacular on the outside! Thank you Priya for all the generous work you do for so many. 💕”

“I just received my first order. Service was faster than expected, received it within days. Everything is perfect. I am 5'10 and was worried the harem pants would be short, but they are perfect, come right down to my ankles. They will be great work from home pants. The necklace is beautiful. I will for sure be ordering again.”

“Omg what can I say, I received two orders that I placed recently all came within a couple of days. Baby doll dress is lovely, can't wait for you to get more in, the midi length Kaftan is beautiful the beading on it is beautiful. Cotton Asymmetrical top is great, hope you get more colors, magnetic buttons are going to come in handy, I bought 4 pairs of wooden earrings they are so light and fashionable with any outfit, the alive intention silver bracelet is also very cute. I am so impressed with everything I purchased as this is my first purchase from you, I am looking forward to purchasing more fabulous items from your store. Victoria”

“I've just picked up my order and unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. The quality of the silk top, for example, is thin and poor. I have other items in silk material that have a look and feel like silk because the silk is thicker and therefore sits better on the body. The swing jacket is a lovely design but again it feels slight and of poor quality.. The wrap-around scarf is slight as well but I can make that work.”

We are very sorry you were unhappy with your purchase. As noted on our website, our silk clothing is made from vintage saris that have been re-purposed into clothing. The quality of the silk is different on each piece but we do ensure that it is pure silk in either a silk crêpe, silk georgette or silk chiffon weave. With regards to your wool pieces, we specifically indicate on our website that these pieces are lightweight wool--actually made from lightweight wool shawls that have been hand embroidered and stitched into clothing. They are described as, and intended to be, "slight". In the future, we encourage you to get in touch with us if there is something you are interested in and we can meet with you virtually to show you the pieces online before you purchase. Sometimes just reading descriptions can be information overload 😊

“Oh, my goodness! I just received my Ocean Lightweight Wool Swing Jacket! It looked gorgeous in the photo, but in person...? Unbelievably beautiful! This is a show stopper, and I can't wait to wear it! This is my fourth purchase (I'm addicted now) and delivery took a bit longer than usual because of weather delays. Never mind. It's always worth the wait.”
