“Order process was simple once you have waded through the wealth of products available - comparison tool quite useful fro compaing specs. Delivery was quick with extra email and text advice received. It was also very quick especially cosidering I chose Free delivery - placed order Monday eveninig 7:00pm (effectively Tuesday start of business) and delivered Thursday midday (Better than 5 day delivery). Product - Acer Aspire E1-572 (Acer Aspire E1-572, Intel Core i5-4200U Dual Core Processor, 15.6" HD Screen, Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD Rewriter, Integrated Graphics, USB3 | HDMI | Bluetooth, Exclusive Upgraded to 8GB Ram) - Very competitive pricing by comparison with a good product specification. ONE NEGATIVE - ACER instructions in box directed to just turn on and follow screen prompts to complete registation and set up. This did NOT happen but an Administartor account with restricted facilities came up. Spent a long evening not being able to register Windows 8.1 and not being able to set up my own user account. Next day spotted an icon in the tray which allowed some kind of system clean up and reboot - looked dangerous and I passed over it a couple of times. Eventually took the plunge and processed this and once the reboot took place it immediately went through the new machine / new user set up as required. everything seems to work fine now. Guess this was due to pre delivery check or the memory upgrade or ???????? ANYWAY PLEASE ADD SOME INSTRUCTIONS TO USER FOR HOW TO START THE SYSTEM INITIALISATION PROCESS WHEN IT IS DIFFERENT TO THE ACER INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. Paul Allen”

“I received the laptop quickly, before the 5 working days that was suggesetd when ordering. The laptop was the best price I could find for the level of machine with the specification so I would not hesitate to recommend buying a machine from Saveonlaptops”

“Having recently been sold a Toshiba laptop with a CHROME O/S (order no. S6J-B42-8T7-966) I was subsequently assured by your team that the Norton Internet Security which they recommended was compatible even although I had found it impossible to download it. Despite subsequent telephone contact with Save On Laptops to point out that that the products were not compatible, a fact confirmed directly to me by on line Semantic support (see also the various on line discussion threads confirming this + Norton's own Product Compatibility advice), your team have refused to refund the cost of the Norton Internet Security. As this is a clear breach of my Consumer Protection rights in the sense that what I have been sold is not compatible and thus NOT FIT for the purpose for which it was purchased I find your refusal to refund me totally unacceptable. Clearly your Sales Team is not au fait with the compatibilities of the goods they are offering as a package. Reference to Semantic will confirm that this is a known problem and that whilst they say that they are working to make Norton compatible with Chrome O/S THIS IS NOT CURRENTLY THE CASE. Notwithstanding the above I have to say that although the 'Returns' side of the company were polite (despite being improperly advised by your in house technocrat) the 'Sales' were off hand to the point of disinterest ! All in all I have no hesitation in giving a "VERY POOR" rating for my experience with Save On Laptops.”

“I paid for the 'within two working days' on a Sunday, so assumed it would arrive on Tuesday, it arrived on Wednesday which was slightly inconveneint for me, not a big issue though as important thing aas that it arrived and in perfect working order. I would definately consider using Save on Laptops again, predominantly for the price/quality, but also for the convenience, however next time I won't pay extra for a prmopt delivery.”

“i normally buy apple macs but needed a second pc for work, a windows one, the one i purchased a lenovo was under £250 and i cant fault it, the quality of the picture and quad core means its fast too, im not impressed with windows but as a spare pc these are great for the money, i doubt it will last as long as my old mac that died after 14 yrs but i did buy a new mac too and for the measly price of £250 to £900 for the mac the lenovo is a great improvement over the old sony with xp that it replaced, i was unsure about the low cost but i needed have worried, all seems great, fast delivery too even on the free option by hermes very happy”
