“My son needed new laptop with Windows 7 for school. Not only did they have it it was a decent spec too at a sensible price. And delivery was without any dramas.”

“I'd buy your laptop from someone else. My Acer Inspire v3 was delivered with faulty touchpad (a common fault on Acers), but saveonlaptops.co.uk will not give me a refund, only a replacement which could have the same fault. They threaten you with handling charges if you return the laptop they don't find the same fault you do (if the fault is intermittent you pay, I guess). This company advertises that they have a real local phone number, but it is a sales hotline only, and it's absolutely impossible to speak to anyone about a faulty machine, they only offer email support - not even online chat. Two stars is generous - I guess they are a bit cheaper than some other companies.”

“delivery: bought on friday (with saturday delivery), arrived on time around 2 p.m. laptop: neat and compact fanless design, screen seems rather small at first but after adjusting it to 125% everything looks as it should. price: it is one of the cheapest ones out there and probably the only reason for that is the screen size. ease of use: the track pad seems odd at first as the division of the trackpad and mouse buttons is basically seamless, but the buttons are there.”

“I found it very easy to find what I was looking for the filters worked exceptionally well and I had no problems in making my selection very quickly. The ordering process was nice and easy to use and the despatch of the goods was excellent arriving next day using a carrier who has an email notification which lets you know when they will be at your door. I will be using you again. JBB”

“I paid for saturday delivery and was pleased that it was delivered by DPD ,laptop is a refurb but looks brand new, that's all I can say so far I can't test it till monday because I'm hiding it away as it's a christmass present .”

“If a computer literate friend had not helped me with the set up, I would have been completely lost. I liked the old models where you just switched on. These are loaded with a lot of stuff you just do not need and it had to be disinstalled. They are not loaded with a good word processing system from windows s but a lot of unneeded stuff. It would be better to keep it read for non-techs.”
