“The overall shopping experience was good apart from being told the item was in stock when it wasn't. Then having no idea until contacting customer services when it would arrive.”
One of our fulfilment centres were showing this in stock at the time you placed the order, however the stock subsequently ran out prior to your order being processed and we were unable to supply the model ordered. We did ask if there was an alternative model however you declined this offer and requested to cancel the order.
“Reckoned from the website that they had my item in stock and expected immediate delivery. When I heard nothing I phoned up and they were helpful promising to phone back. But I had to phone again and arrange a delivery date. Turns out that they were awaiting delivery from another online site and if I'd gone direct to it myself I could have saved £10. But I got I wanted in the end!”
I have checked and can find no record of any cancellation request being made. I do not understand your comment about the product costing more than you expected as the prices are clearly shown when ordering.
“I found ordering confusing and difficult as the website said the item was in stock but when I ordered it said awaiting stock delivery.
I also found the service inconvenient as saverstore cancelled my item after I'd paid. Fair enough as the item was no longer available from the supplier but they could have at least put on the item that in fact it wasn't in stock. I did get my money back though.
I would be very cautious about buying something from saverstore again.”
I can find no communication from yourself regarding this order. Had we been contacted regarding the matter then we would have either issued a refund or sent a replacement.
“I bought a 10" Nurvo tablet, after about a month it wouldn't boot up, I emailed customer service [there is no dedicated number for service] on a sunday which I thought would be quicker than writing a letter, the web form said "please allow 24 hours for a response" reasonable enough on a sunday I thought but monday & tuesday no response so emailed again with no response so I called the sales line the man I spoke to tried to help had my details knew that there was wait for some sort of "return procedure" or said that some one would be in touch, on the wednesday I got an email which said..
Dear Sir/Madam,
Sorry to know that you have trouble with the above item
Can you please confirm us the serial number and exact fault with the unit so that we can organise a return for you
Regards,
On thursday another email which said..
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been advised by Nurvo support this problem can be rectified over the phone
Could you please contact Nurvo UK support on 0161 873 4141
They will troubleshoot the unit over the phone if it cannot be fixed they will get it repaired or replaced under warranty
Best Regards,
I phoned Nurvo the person I needed was away from his desk I left my number because I was told that he would call me back, I waited 90 minutes & realised tht they were closed for the day. I emailed them to ask why nobody called back, an email response next day asked me to email my phone number again.
Unfortunately due to work commitments I couldn't call them until the following wednesday, I did get the tablet working with instructions over the phone but all the apps etc were deleted as the man said "just like it came out of the box".
I'm very disappointed with the customer service at both of these companies.”
I am sorry that you have not experienced the level of service you expected. We usually try to respond to enquiries within 24 working hours but this is sometimes not possible. Where there is an issue with a product, more often than not the manufacturer is best placed to assist as they have full knowledge of their products, and in these instances we would direct you to the manufacturer as a first port of call, as this is the best way to ascertain if the product is faulty or not and in the majority of cases where the product is deemed to be faulty the manufacturer will arrange for the product to be replaced/repaired under warranty.
“Unfortunately I never received the items ordered.
I reported the matter to saverstore but they put the oness on me to resolve the problem but due to needing the items urgently I had to re - purchase elsewhere”
“I Notified you immediately I received the HDD that it was faulty, but received no acknowledgement. I subsequently suffered an acute illness, which is why I forgot to follow up the notification. Please advise as previous experience has always been very positive. Regards Trevor”
“What did I buy?? I am out of the country for the last 4 months. If you refuse to reply on the grounds of a CON, then I will need you to be added to my BLOCKED people.
Regards”
“Order was never received.
My account was debited immediately order was placed.
had to jump through far too many hoops to eventually secure a refund.
It's doubtful the item was ever in stock.
Please remove my email from your circulation list.
Thank you.
Seán Bannister.”
“I purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad 8 from your site as you claimed to have them in stock and that it would be delivered within a few working days, I then received an email stating that you where awaiting stock from the supplier (meaning your site was falsely advertising). I then sent a message enquiring and was ignored for over two weeks. I only received a response once I opened an issue on PayPal to receive a refund and that response was that my order was cancelled and I has been refunded.
I do not intend to attempt to purchase from you again.”
“I don't understand how could you sell to me an item doesn't exist or had been taken of the side & charge me for it & as soon as you had your money of me, you emailed me to say my order is cancelled !!!
Also, How shady you can be.
You deposited my money back, yet you took my money again. So return my money back or will make sure that you are reported to google.
You don't see Amazon or ebay behave shady like your site & if you carry on treating your customer in this way, you will end having no customers at all.”
The item in question was incorrectly showing as available from one of our suppliers, however this product can no longer be purchased hence the order was cancelled.
“The product arrived quickly and working. However, the description masked a fairly complicated setup required (at least on the first PC/tablet to use it), and the fact that PCs/laptops/tablets really don't make using Miracast that intuitive and rapid. But it did work essentially as advertised in terms of the functionalities I have tried out. I would have preferred a device without installation/setup software (as it takes disc space on my tablet), but that's probably asking too much.”
I have checked on the system and the order had been awaiting collection since 18th and we have sent a number of emails to you advising of this as well as replying to your email messages logged via our website. I see that you have now collected the item and trust it is to your satisfaction.
“Order and pay for item after awkward long winded registration process. Then get email item no longer available and takes days to refund money. All a bit crap really and would not use again if at all possible.”
