“Order placed on 24th May and payment taken the same day. Nothing on the website to indicate that the items were not in stock. Contacted them on 2nd June to ask why my order had not been shipped. The reply said that my "order has been forwarded to the picking department and will be shipped shortly" - unhelpful, uninformative, little more than the wording on the order confirmation. Cancelled the order on 8th June. Again a bot style response, "sorry for the inconvenience", sounds like this happens all the time. Plenty of other companies supply glassware without dealing with one which takes payment before shipping (poor practice) and then does not ship or communicate.”

“Poor customer service, long delay in response to emails once purchased and delivery took much longer than stated for covid delays. Would not purchase again from Savoy and Snook. When my items arrived they were poorly packed and one of the candles was damaged and covered in sticky parcel tape. This item was a gift so not only was it well past the time I had to give the gift it also was so badly damaged that I couldn’t give it to the recipient anyway. Tried to call on the telephone number but as before when I placed the order no one is answering. First and last purchase unfortunately. Mrs Smiley”

“I ordered some Royal Albert items the 27th of May and so far I haven’t received them. I emailed the company 3 times(as phone gets never picked up)and they say they are under high volume of order workload(the website promises to process the order the same day at it is made). If you email they reply quickly but it won’t make any difference to the delivery of your order.”

“Three weeks after ordering, I have had nothing, no emails or delivery. Telephone line just rings and then tells you that you are not allowed to leave a message. Beginning to think that this is a fraudulent company.”

“I needed a gift in a hurry. My enquiry email on a Monday was answered long before normal office hours, and I had the glassware in my hands on the next day, allowing plenty of time to wrap it and to get it to its recipient. Faultless service. Excellent company. Terrific staff.”

“Paid for speedy delivery, items delivered within 2/3 days as per promised. Was a gift and arrived safe and friends delighted with quality. Emailed firm to confirm delivery, had a reply within a couple of hours. Excellent service. Thankyou.”

“I ordered some champagne saucers and although very well packed when they arrived they were sadly broken. I contacted the company and quickly received a reply offering to replace the glasses. The customer service was fantastic. These things happen but to have such a caring after sales service was amazing. Will definitely use again. Thanks”

“This parcel has not yet arrived. Message from PO saying they are very busy.Perhaps you should use a more reliable carrier.I note you have taken the cost from my account. A.B.Wise PS I have been in lockdown for 77 days and have not been out of my house in that period Just in case they make that their excuse !”

“Ordered pasta bowls to go with a dinner set I had found elsewhere. Savoy and Snook had the best price for these. Delivered promptly and all in one piece. Shame I can’t say the same for the dinner set which i ordered from a national chain home shop. That arrived in pieces so I’ve now reordered from Savoy with piece of mind.”
