“It was an easy process to rent a scooter for my cruise. First, the phone process was easy. The pick up at the terminal couldn't have been easier. The same with the drop off. Well worth it!”
“It wasn't explained to me to pick up the scooter outside the terminal on arrival. Instead, I walked a very long distance, with my walker, and then was told the scooter was where I started. This was far harder than it should have been. The scooter was very helpful on the cruise but not on uneven, broken sidewalks in the various mid American ports.”
“The scooters are well maintained and clean. The people renting the scooters is very knowledgeable in instructing people how to use the scooter safely. I rented the scooter three times and it was very costly. They should have a special rate for multiple rentals. I was only allowed to reserve my scooter on line and the night before.”
“This scooter was perfect for my cruise! It was ready in my room when I arrived and I left it there at the end of the trip. It ran just fine, very fast if I wanted to go quick. I stayed in a regular room and got a free upgrade to a balcony room. Both rooms were a tight squeeze getting in and especially getting out because there isn't room to turn it around. My husband had to back it out each time we left our room. I definitely will purchase a cabin for disabled because they have lots of room. I would rent from Scootaround again for our next cruise. It was large seated and very comfortable to sit in for hours.”
