“Scoot around folk were very helpful and followed up on process through boarding the ship. Not so happy with final departure from ship as the staff did not want to let me leave terminal on scooter for the waiting benches 200-300 ft away. Didn’t want to accept any responsibility! Was I supposed to crawl to the benches?!!! Finally theTALL .. at least 6’4” ..agreed to accompany me and returned the scooter. Am thankful to him and you should be too.”
“The scooter was fine, but we were in a non-accessible cabin on our cruise -- and the scooter DID NOT FIT, despite the fact that we were told it would. We were forced to leave it in the hallway, and run an extension cord to charge it.”
“I have paraded from them several times and only one mishap period. When getting ready to board the magic on february fifth twenty twenty three there had been no scooters delivered and we wait about
30 minutes for them to bring them.”
“Ft Lauderdale picked up in the room. Very inconvenient, as my wife can not walk around the ship, Should have been at check-in or at least at wheelchair drop-off. Other ports have scooters right where car drop-off is. You Have to leave the scooter in the room when you leave and get to the wheelchair pick-up area, to get off the ship. Scooter worked perfect and charged up at night. Need larger Room for it to fit inside, takes up space.”
“The Scoot Around was of great help. I had problems driving it. Nothing was wrong with the scoot around. It did its job. I was recovering from a stroke and was confused about how to use it. i couldnt think clearly and was nervous. The equipment itself was great.”
“Although I love the service the price range for handicapped people has gotten so out of range from from the scooter round. To daily cand for the time that you're actually using then for help it saddens me.”
“The unit died at Arlington Cemetery. A call was made to appraise of situation. I was told no one was available to help until 5 PM. Cemetery closed at 4. I was allowed to use a room to try and charge to get back to hotel. It was scary taking train back not knowing if I could get there. I was promised a 200.00 rebate on cost of rental which never was done. A replacement battery came overnight, but my son pushed me 7 miles around the square so I didn’t lose an afternoon of my trip.”
