“The experience was good; woman on the phone when I ordered was good and very polite, Price was good. Scooter was at the hotel Bellstand when I arrived. Unfortunately en route from Orlando Convention center on 1/17 somebody opening the door for me let it go prematurely. It swung shut as I went through and broke my ankle. Scooter was undamaged. I am still dealing with consequences two m later. The ADA door from Conference center to walkway to Hyatt was broken which is why this happened.”
“I used Scoot Around for my Alaska cruise and found them convenient to access at the ship terminal. (Outside) Good job!
When I used them on my Mexico cruise, I had to traverse the whole ship to get to my room, where the scooter had been placed. Not so convenient to do all of that walking, which is why I need a scooter.”
“Excellent mobility scooter and service but it was still a long walk for me to get to them inside the Botanical Gardens. Perhaps someone could provide them at the entry or before the entry as an option. That would have helped me a lot.”
“Would have been beneficial to know that the advertised was the cash price and that if you paid by card it was higher. I came with zero cash, because the event did not accept cash, it was all card.”
“You did not need to raise the price from $50 to $60. I feel like $50 is a fair price to rent a scooter for the day and it just seems like you are taking advantage of people who need this equipment.”
“This was second year renting from them. Last years was newer so less used. Try sitting in and making a few circles before taking off. The seat in this years was more leaned back so not as comfortable as the first years. Saying that it's the best way of getting around with mobility issues. Nice people to deal with!”
“The scooter worked well, only problem was the back didn't stay in position causing
an uncomfortable ride at times. Once I figured out how to fix the back of the chair into the track it was fine from then on. The battery had a good charge and lasted the entire night in the green.”
