“Rented a wheelchair for a cruise. It took a couple tries to get a response from the company (COVID to blame apparently), but once we did they delivered the chair as promised, in good shape. Price seemed high, by the time they charged extra because the ship was ending at a different point from the departure.”
“the scootaround was fine. FYI , the standard inside rooms, balcony rooms on a cruise ship DOORS are really not wide enough to get the scooters in without some precise manuvering .
I thought i was going to beat up door trying to get in at times. A handicap room on ship costs more.”
“The experience was satisfactory except for the fact that the location did not open until the time the event opened which caused long lines in the heat. Also, only one person was handling the check-in.
It would have been much more expedient to have the location open 30 minutes before the event opening.
Most people who are renting these scooters are elderly or have difficulty getting around.”
“better understanding of when to pick up scooter would have been helpful. We were told it would be in the room, but later found out we should have picked it up at the terminal”
“The scooter I got was in good shape and charged completely. This one had a good battery and held the charge very well for the large area I was going to navigate.”
“The scooter was in my stateroom as promised. There were no problems during the rental except that the scooter seemed very old and beaten up from many previous rentals. I noticed several other scooters from the same company that were in much better condition.”
“My first rentals were nice but the last two were ragged one stopped running the second had a broken horn that decided to work after hitting a bump and wouldn’t cut off for at least 20 mins all eyes on me”
