“The battery was faulty and died in the middle of the street. We actually used it a collective hour or 2 the entire weekend. We spent far more time trying to get it moving than we did actually moving. Fighting that chair put a serious damper on our mother & daughters trip to Las Vegas. We've never done that with mom and she was not happy. It'll never happen again. I nearly missed a show & did miss a previously planned very nice dinner because of waiting for someone to pick up the chair. It took hours! I then had to fight to have the charge refunded.”

“Firstly, the scooter was fantastic. Now the moan. We told the company we wouldn't be landing until after their last 3 hr time slot, so as far as they were concerned, we 'missed' collection. It was a nightmare to reorganise with them but after over an hour they agreed to redeliver the next day which wasn't much good because I needed it immediately. So we had to go the extra expense and hire one from the hotel for 24 hrs. The collection was a little easier I will say. But that little scooter really did a fab job for our holiday, I couldn't be without it”

“We have used Scoot Around for several rentals for myself and my wife over the past year. We have rented in Las Vegas, as well as for several different cruises. This experience was one of the worst by far. We experienced issues with our scooter on the last cruise that we took. We notified the guest services desk on board the ship immediately to make it aware that we were having issues. When we returned to port, we notified the employees at the desk when we returned the scooter. And I also called customer service and reported the problems we had. We were asked to give customer service until March 31, 2023, because they were short-staffed and needed extra time. It is now April 14, 2023, and we never did hear back from anyone regarding the issues that we had. It would be greatly appreciated if I was made to feel important, and not that my issues were not that big of a deal to the company. Extremely disappointed in our last experience.”
“ive rented scooters for 3 cruises. i.ve found it a wonderful experience. the equiptment is in my cabin when i arrive, all plugged in and ready to go. it is equipt with a direction booklet, so if i have any questions i can find the answers. when my cruise is over, i simply leave it in my cabin. they make it very convenient.”
“The scooter was waiting in my cabin when I arrived on the ship. Scootaround had a location outside the ship where I could leave my scooter when I disembarked. That way I didn't need a wheelchair to get off the ship.”
