“Easy transaction, didnt have to pay for shipping, got the money in less than 3 days after they received the books! Will sell books here again”

“I sold back many high school and university books to Second Bind. The website was easy to use and the process seamless. A shipping label was sent to me within an hour and even the shipper helped me box the books up to be shipped. Within 5 days, I received payment. The prices offered were more than fair, and in many cases, over the price offered by the university's own buyback program. I have recommended this service to my friends and definitely encourage everyone to recycle educational textbooks and reading material through Second Bind.”

“The quoted price was less than 15 % of the original purchasing price. Second, The company paid me less than half of the quoted price meaning you will only get about 7% back if you choose this service. Despite giving my books in excellent condition and packing them using the registered secondbind packaging process ( provided on their website )the company still paid me half of what the original quoted price stating that it was only due the condition and packaging of the books? Original quote was 247.25 and ended up only being paid 112.58 for more than 10 textbooks. Beyond this the only option The customer has to have their books returned if they " do not accept the appraised value" was to pay a hefty shipping return fee which is roughly 45.00 $. Thus the company traps you into accepting less money than they will originally quote you for. Criminal behaviour for a Canadian company.”

Hi Nathaniel, We always send out an email notifying our customers of any quote adjustments prior to shipping. Our software is still in the test phase. If any quote adjustment is made after receiving the package, it is due to it's condition. You can always read our shipping and packaging policy to get more information. “I work full time and I am not able to go to campus to sell my books. My son told me about Second Bind and I was skeptical at first. Once I started the process I was impressed at how easy and quick it was to sell your books. I was very impressed that they even provided a paid label to send my books, My cheque came in 4 days later. “the form was easy to fill in to find how much the books were worth, then you just box up the books, print the label to attach to the box and bring it to a UPS store and everything else is done for you. No expenses are incurred. Its easy!”
