-I have some great memories of the countries I have visited with Senior Tours (2011:Greece and the Islands; 2012:Budapest Spa; 2014:Morocco; 2015:Portugal; 2017:Malta; 2018:Corsica; 2018:Peru; 2019:Israel). “I have travelled with Senior Discovery Tours eight times and have enjoyed all my trips. I especially like being picked up at my door, and all tipping taken care of by the tour guides. It would be nice if the tour guides spoke the language of the country visited, and all hotels were more centrally located, and not as some a 20 minute walk from the closest amenities. Looking forward to my next trip when the time is right.”
“I have taken 18 tours. That speaks for itself.
Generally speaking the tours are well managed,( over managed on some stay put tours) interesting and of good value.
There is a good variety of tours at all times of year.
I was on the Majorca tour this Spring (March 3 to March 22). It was interrupted do to the covid19 issue. I submitted a claim under the Manulife STD travel policy in early May but have received no payment yet, which is puzzling because others on the same tour have had their claims paid. I am not impressed with this situation as the trip interruption claim is straightforward.”

“I have taken five tours with SDT and have enjoyed all of them. I booked out of the Calgary office where the staff are amazing. Blair and Lucy come to mind but everyone I dealt with couldn't have been more helpful.
All connections went without a hitch, all accommodation was first class and that goes for the cuisine also! The tours guides were helpful without being overpowering. we had adequate spare time whilst still being able to see the highlights of the tour. “Over several years, I have taken five tours with Senior DiscoveryTours, and they have been consistently excellent. As I love Italy, the Sicily stay put was special, as well as the Sorrento, Amalfi Coast tour. I liked the long-stay on the Costa del Sol in October ... the water was warm enough for a swim. In future, I would prefer stay-put or long-stay trips. I have never gone on the Southern Italy Tour and that interests me -- especially over the Christmas holidays. Just keep up the good work!”
“I think there should be a rating of very good between good
and excellent. I’ve been on 3 Seniors tours and they really suit my needs/desires. They cover all the basis. My only complaint is that they overbook some of the trips. With 42/44 travellers it makes departures and entry into exhibits time consuming and cumbersome.”
