“Travelled once on Newfoundland tour. Excellent guide, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Places chosen to visit and entertainment, local and popular were well thought out choices. Dining was very good and one poor choice of hotel in Charlottetown, otherwise accomodations were excellent. Driver was excellent as well. I would love to see more local tours... tulip festival in Ottawa, Point Pelee, Vancouver island, Alaska and Yukon.”
“So much depends on the Tour Guide on their interaction with the travellers. Some like to constantly chatter others comment on the points of interest in passing. My experience has been good and if and when turs open up again I will be checking in.”

“We went to Hawaii in February 2019. Our Tour Director was very good! We went to Oahu, Kona and Maui. We enjoyed the island of Maui the best. The flights between islands were very good. Our flights from Canada (Toronto-Vancouver-Waikiki) and back, Maui-Calgary-Toronto were unfortunate. We had to wait for the Airport Express bus for 6 hours after arriving at Toronto Pearson Airport a half hour after the last Airport Express bus left! Not Senior Discovery's fault. All in all, while we were in Hawaii, the round-the island tours were good. We thought there would be more tours to sign up for and didn't realize until it was too late that we were expected to make our own arrangements. All in all, it was lovely to finally see Hawaii! Being in our late 80's (now 90) we have appreciated the airport assistance, fully escorted tours, excellent and knowledgeable escorts, (along with a few unlisted treats from time to time), as well as varied and interesting destinations and itineraries.
We feel your tours are now mainly designed for those much younger than us. We are however always waiting for the next brochure in the hopes of finding something we can handle - something without walking. We were considering two possibilities for 2020 until the coronavirus took over. Hopefully this situation will eventually pass and allow us to consider travelling again. Meanwhile, we are happy to promote your company as an excellent travel choice.”
“I was on the cruise to Alaska, a dream for me. Our guide was superb, helpful, and most pleasant. The only difficulty we had was our original plane was cancelled in Montreal. When we finally got to Vancouver we couldn’t let our guide know that we would eventually arrive in Alaska via the USA. We needed her phone number. Even your head office was closed because it was a Sunday. Fortunately once we met up in Anchorage everything went VERY smoothly.”
