“Every tour I have been on has been wonderful! The accommodation is very good, wine is often included with meals, daily tours are fun and interesting, there is ample "solo" time and the guides have all been pleasant, well informed and carried out their duties efficiently.”

France we were disappointed, wine is the best but when the Tour Manager decides on one glass quite disappointing, Senior Discovery should tell you in advance no wine then we pay our own. China trip was the worse Tour Manager. He was there for the money.”
“My husband and I have been on 4 tours with this company and have had nothing but good experiences. These tours are jam packed with interesting things to see, eat and do. Everything, as they say, is included… air and bus transportation, visas, food, excursions. We feel that the amount that Senior Discovery Tours manages to pack into our 2 week tours is far more than we could manage on our own in a month, and all with knowlegable and organized tour managers, guides and bus drivers. “Our first (but we hope not last) Senior Discovery Tours adventure was the tour of the Maritime Provinces. Because we reside in the U.S., we were not able to enjoy the full travel benefits offered such as home pickup, but all other arrangements were done in a smooth and professional manner. The tour itself was well planned, and scheduled so that most of our hotel stays were for more than one night--providing us with an easier "rhythm" of travel and discovery. Our tour manager was superb in both her knowledge of the materials presented and her engagement with the group--we were about 40 in number. She was also quick to take initiative in rearranging some portions of the tour sequence to take account of some heavy weather. The hotels arranged were comfortable and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves discovering a part of Canada that we had never visited before--(and we got a sense that it was an area undiscovered by many Canadians as well.) We were so pleased with SDR that we booked an overseas tour, but alas, it was cancelled due to insufficient subscription. We hope to try again in the future.”
