“My wife and I have traveled with Senior Discovery Tours seven or eight times and have come to rely on them as being very professional and their office staff and tour managers very helpful. I miss "being grounded" and not having the opportunity to travel with SDT because of the pandemic. However, I know that will change at some point and I look forward with eager anticipation to that time!”
“Generally I have enjoyed all my trips with SDT....some were better than others, due to the local guides .
I would prefer to fly out of Montreal, whenever possible, as it is a shorter route, often there is a flight to meet the group .
I would also suggest that new tours be tried by a Canadian representative before making it available to a group. Local tour operators, and/or itineraries, may fall short of Canadian standards and cannot be known via "not on the ground" communications.

“I have gone on 2 trips with SDT (and had one cancelled this spring due to COVID). My trip to SA is one i will never forget. Your service is exceptional. Smallest of details looked after and lots of "extras" thrown in that make you feel pampered. I hope to be travelling with you again soon”
“The tours and the guides are excellent. The flight arrangements are a problem. The booking reference MUST be the same for a couple and not include other travellers. Otherwise it is impossible for us to get seats together, make changes to seats, do upgrades on advance check-in and similar. As well, seats MUST be able to be preselected for upgrades to Premium Economy or Business Class when the upgrade was booked. If I did the flight separately I could do this but not if Senior Tours does it even though the price I pay is the same. These kinds of changes would make the trip much less stressful and are necessary even if the price for each traveller increases. I think that people would be happy to pay more to have these additional services and would bring this part of the tour to the same high standards.”

“Good tours, but need to double-check arrangements are accurate and follow customer's wishes. Also when company cancels a tour need to refund ALL monies back to customers ie not give partial refund and hold some as a credit, because not all customers will be able to re-schedule trips.”
