Not recommended – tracking & service levels very variable. All I wanted was flowers on my mother’s 87th birthday. I ordered 2 days in advance, I got notified that they were “out for delivery”, then that the delivery had “failed”. Since my mother never leaves the retirement home, I found it odd that the delivery could “fail”. There’s no number to call for any time-sensitive queries, but I must admit their email responses are rapid (although entirely useless). The response was the delivery was delayed due to “adverse weather”. Weather in the south that day was “Partly sunny with a slight breeze” (this was 4 days after the snow in the UK). Not beach weather, but surely someone in a van could manage. I responded and was told they would “check with their courier” but to “be patient as this can take 24-48 hours”. Well, that kind of defeats the point of making sure flowers were delivered that day, so I asked for a refund, so I could make alternate arrangements with a local florist. The response was “we are unable to arrange a refund” as they were “delivering in line with their terms and conditions related to the adverse weather” (you know – the partly sunny and breezy bit). The responses got more ridiculous after that, but here’s the warning for those of you considering this company: While perhaps there was a backlog due to previous adverse weather, if they knew that they should have it posted clearly as a potential problem as they continued to take orders despite very little chance of making an on-time delivery. If you get caught with weather, traffic, etc., you’re probably out of luck. If there is a problem with your delivery, actually finding out what is going on is unlikely as there seems to be no real link between this company and the couriers they outsource delivery to. The dispatch times they reviewed with me were on completely different days compared to the dispatch emails I received. In addition, saying that they’ll find out “24-48 hours later” is absolutely useless. Anyway, sad to miss an 87th birthday; frustrated to have to be on emails and wasting time finding out what’s going on; annoyed that there was absolutely no refund, credit or recompense. I would stick with local services if I were you.

This was a present for my Mother on Mother’s day. She was over the moon with the flowers, stating what lovely colours they were, filling 3 vases.

Once again, after giving you the benefit of the doubt - SO disappointed. You must have a wide angle lens, as the basket that was delivered was particularly small, and the contents were to say the least, not good quality, not enough buds/flowers and a very 'sparse' plant. This was for a special birthday present, and i was embarrassed. My mother received other flowers from a local florist, and at the same price as the basket i sent, and the difference was amazing. I know who I will use in the future. Most disappointed once again.

I sent these flowers plus a vase to my god daughter who has just had a major opperation and i hoped to cheer her up.IT WORKED she said these are the best flowers that she has EVER received a huge bunch of beautiful fresh flowers . thank you serenata i will use you again

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my close friend's 50th birthday to be delivered on her actual birthday, and two days later she is still waiting! I will never use Serenata again, what shoddy poor service! I would never have booked with Serenata if I'd known they weren't going to deliver what they promised. My friend was so disappointed not to receive the flowers on her actual birthday.

Due to the recipient having an emergency which meant they would be out of the country for a week, I tried to rearrange the date of delivery for my flowers/Cake etc but was told this could not be done; nor were they willing to change delivery address. This led to flowers/cake etc being left outside the recipients house & being completely destroyed! Complete waste of money, plus the “customer service” was simply standard emails! Won’t be using them again!

I ordered a bouquet of Gerberas and Roses as they are my mums favourite for mother’s day and I wasn’t overally impressed. Although the customer service was great and friendly and they refunded me 20% the flowers came with 1 broken and most of the gerberas looked battered. I will only be using again if I need to but won’t be rushing back.

These were funeral flowers. They arrived at the funeral directors in cellophane and looked like shop brought flowers. Very very disappointed

The bouquet was damaged by being forced into a small oasis pot. The lily heads were broken off. This must have happened on packing because the scars on the flowers and the stems were dry. Some of the chrysanthemum heads were also bent over. Very disappointing.

As I am in Australia I was very pleased that I was kept informed of the whole process from start to finish and that the flowers were delivered on time despite adverse weather conditions.

They refunded my order money, because of adverse weather conditions as they could not guarantee the delivery

Dreadful amateur bouquet delivered to my Mum for her birthday. £39.99 worth of chrysanthemums plus one dying rose. So disappointed will not use again.
