“Well I sent a Nad C165BEE for a repair which I originally purchased from these Ametuers a few years ago cut the long story out I know it's the cheap Chinese Capacitors NAD used which I have replaced all them now and the amplifier sounds crisp and nice now no thanks to these clowns!!!!
1: They found no fault (which can be heard clearly even with headphones on).
2: When they called me to say no fault was found I replied put a Oscillscope on it they replied we don't use those! (What on earth and you Muppets call yourself a service centre!!!
3: After no repair they sent it back to the Caversham so I could collect it (guess what they've left a loose Capacitor rattling around with must of came out someone else's working unit now it probably don't work lol 🤣
4: I received it back second time now and it looks like they've sprayed some solvent on the front panel (which clearly wasn't there before I sent it off to be repaired.
Be warned!!! These guys are a bunch of Ametuers.”
“This is my first and last time I will be purchasing any home cinema products from this company; the website says 2 to 3 days delivery time, with no indication of any delays.
I've just received an email from a courier company stating that the delivery will be over a weeks' time of the original order date!
Especially when you take into consideration this is a birthday present for a family member!”
“I attended the Sevenoaks sound in Chelsea London late this afternoon to obtain some help with the purchase of some Bowes and Wilkes ceiling speakers. Asking the shop keeper for his help seemed like getting blood out of a stone. The most he said was there is medium and other speakers and put a speaker on the counter. He couldn't even be bothered to show me the different kinds of products on line and instead told me to go and look myself. I could understand if I knew about speakers. But isn't that what he is there for.... to help a novice like myself.
If thats how Sevenoaks in Chelsea hopes to make sales then I feel they need to overhaul their customer training. I thought it may have been because I was black, but thought no. So I asked for other stores and was told of the one in Holborn. I decided to go to the Sevenoaks in Holborn, who were more than helpful with information. In short, Chelsea store just lost out on the procurement of two pairs of ceiling speaker. But given their customer etiquette I don't think they really care. Would never go there again even if you paid me. I would advise anyone who goes to the Chelsea branch and speaks to the Italian sounding representative, to run. Never been so insulted.”
