I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

Dear Customer Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were disappointed to see we have only managed two stars. As a small family-run company customer service is very important to us. I have reviewed your order and see that you ordered from us 11th September and was delivered on the 30th October. This is indeed a lot longer than our usual delivery service and we are sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this has caused. This item was not in our immediate stock - which unfortunately does happen to all retailers from time to time. We were led to believe that the suppliers had a pair and we ordered them in good faith expecting to fulfil your delivery with three to five days as advised. Unfortunately, the item did not arrive so we chased it up with the supplier and one of our team telephoned you to discuss the options and the colours available. You chose to wait for the original colour from the manufacturer rather than take one of the colours we or the supplier could offer immediately. You were made aware that this would take significantly longer as it was not yet in stock with the manufacturer. Whilst we are sorry that you had to wait so long for your original order, we hope that you appreciated the efforts we went to in order to ensure you received the shoes of your choice. “Good range and responsive customer service, and they even ship to Saudi Arabia. On the down side did not mention thry were sending by mail rather than courier. Took a bit longer to receive and I had to pick it up from the post office”

As a small family business, it is our intention to provide a trouble-free ordering experience and we are sorry that you found this delivery time too long. We have a large warehouse in addition to our shop stop, but as with every business sometimes stock requires replenishing which is what caused the slightly longer than usual delivery time. I note that we advised you the day after the order that the delivery time would be 6 to 10 working days. It actually arrived within 8 working days. “I recently became a new customer with Shoes International when I ordered a pair of Waldlaufer walking boots. I can honestly say this company knows how to give 100% customer service. I wish every company took such pride in their business and such excellent care of their customers. The communications and the advice as well as the product ordered and received were all first class.
