I recently ordered a pair of DM (Adelaide) Henrietta Oxford shoes direct from DM's own website in their clearance sales - but they are only offering the Oxblood version in the sales. In fact the only other colour you can get direct from them (albeit full RRP price of £100/pair) are the Black ones. Through my online browsing, I found Shoes International (SI) and they're offering the DMs at £15 cheaper than full RRP! Plus they're offering the shoes in their original range of three colours (Oxblood, Black and Oak)! Because I am madly in love with the shoes, I ordered two pairs in the colour I don't already own. Having said that, I was fully prepared for SI to come back to me and say "sorry the manufacturer has stopped the Oak version, would you like to cancel it or order a different colour" etc etc etc... I put in my order on a Friday 5 August, by Monday 8 August I received an email telling me to expect delivery in 14 working days. Then yesterday Tuesday 23 August, I got an email telling me they've shipped my shoes and by 15:50 Wednesday 24 August I received delivery of both shoes!!! I am totally over the moon with the service... just BRILLIANT! I mean I have had no need to contact and communicate with them direct, but from reading all reviews I can imagine they'd be super efficient and super helpful! I would definitely be using SI again in the future and will honestly, "from bottom of my heart" kind, be recommending them to friends! Well done guys and keep up the good service! I love the personalised message in the box too! Note: (a) Chaps... despite the shoes being marketed for ladies... don't be scared, they're not too feminine and the heels are only about 1.5"! (b) If you are in between sizes (and have wide-ish feet) you ought to round it up to the next size up. In fact I originally ordered size UK6.5 when I ordered direct from DM but had to return it and re-ordered size UK7, because the shoes are a bit narrow. All in all, if you love the look of the shoes... go for it! I thoroughly recommend them and definitely recommend Shoes International!!!

Your order did take longer than we would usually expect and we are sorry for any disappointment this might have caused. As a small family run independent company, customer experience is very important to us. Your order was received at 16:24 on a Friday, and on the following Monday we advised you that it would take 6 to 8 working days. Our tracking information indicates that it took exactly 8 working days from this point. Stock re-orders have take a little longer than usual in recently months due to a combination of COVID and Brexit causing shipping delays. Happily these delays have now been resolved. “Due to a stock shortage in my size I had to wait but Shoes International kept me up to date with the progress of the order. The shoes arrived beautifully packed, with a personal note. The shoes fit beautifully, just right. Definitely worth the wait.”

“Delighted with my new Rohde clogs. They are stylish and comfortable. I have been buying them for years and strongly recommend the brand. Shoes International struggled to get them for me due to Brexit but always kept me informed of progress and delivered them immediately they received them. Their online service is alway excellent.”

“Dear Sir, I ordered a pair of shoes on the 19th march. I was told that they were in stock but they were not. They arrived on 22nd April. Approx 6 wks later.If they were not in stock the customer should know.”

Dear Customer Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience ordering from us. Your order was placed at 16:36 on a Friday, and we sent an email the following Monday morning including this exact phrase: "..There is a slight delay as we have to obtain further stock from Germany. " We endeavour to ensure our website is an accurate reflection of available styles, but occasionally we do need to re-order stock. This usually only takes a matter of a few days - but due to the extra-ordinary circumstances of both Brexit and COVID orders have been delayed beyond anything we might have expected. Despite making excellent preparations for Brexit, the brand concerned was subject to multiple failed deliveries due to their courier - orders were delivered and sent back to Germany on at least three separate occasions. Fortunately these problems have been resolved now, but we do understand your disappointment, and we apologise again for the delay. We hope that we may be of better service again in the future. “lovely helpful staff and eventually received my walking shoes....the delay was down to Brexit NOT Shoes international, but they kept me informed about delivery time etc and didnt take payment until my shoes were out for delivery. Highly recommend!”

Whilst we endeavour to ensure our website represents an accurate reflection of available footwear, very occasionally we may fall short and require to restock. Usually this would take less than a week in the case of the brand you ordered. The combined problems of COVID and Brexit lead to extraordinary delays and problems - with stock being sent back and forth between the UK and Germany because of new customs regulations.
