Do not tell customers the shoes are in stock.Then put them through weeks of emails and then after all that you have not got them. How can you sell what you have not got.

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to discover you have been so displeased with our service. I have taken some time to review your order to see what we might have done better. You placed your order from overseas on the 6th June and ultimately we delivered an agreed alternative colour on 24th June. Like all retailers, we occasionally run out of inventory which we cannot replenish. We endeavour to keep our website as up to date as possible. On the rare occasion we are unable to provide a product, we notify our customers immediately. We informed you on the first working day following your order that there was an issue with stock and two days later we offered you an alternative colour. At this time (10th June) we offered to order an alternative colour from the factory and made it clear that it would take 8 to 10 working days. Ten working days later, you received the alternative colour you had agreed upon at your overseas location. We are very sorry we were unable to provide your original order. However, we would kindly ask you to appreciate that not having inventory is an issue that affects all businesses from time to time. We also endeavoured to assist you as best we could to provide an alternative. We hope this explanation will help improve your opinion of our services and that we may be of service again in the future.

Unfortunately I haven't received the shoes yet. It probably depends on the Italian post office. But I can't positively judge what I don't have after almost a month of paying.

Dear Customer We are sorry to hear you have not received your parcel - we have not been made aware of this delay as far as I can discern. I checked the tracking information we supplied to you which indicates that the parcel has been held at customs since 20th May. It is not clear from the tracking why this should be. Please may we suggest that you contact Poste Italiane and provide the tracking number. If you encounter any further difficulties please contact us by email. Took an order and then later sent an email saying they are awaiting information on the availability of the shoes. One week later still waiting. Why take an order if you can't dispatch the order?

Dear Mr Nafissi Updated with correction 9th May 2018 Thank you for your review. We are concerned to see that you have only left us a one-star rating. We certainly understand your frustration regarding the delay - please accept our apologies for this. I note that when you made your order we advised you straight away that there would be a delay until the end of April. We emailed you in early April to advise you that the shoes were ready - so you might imagine that I am a little surprised to hear that you consider the service 'bad for the time promised' - we actually had the shoes available earlier than promised. We are sorry that this experience has not been positive for you, we hope that you will appreciate that all businesses occasionally run out of stock and that on this occasion we advised you of such promptly and gave you what I hope most would agree was an accurate estimate of the delay. Incompetent! Shoes advertised for sale were not available any more - expect delivery delays of up to 20 working days for those that are available. Very expensive international shipping costs.

Dear Customer We are sorry to hear of your adverse experience with our website. Whilst we do endeavour to keep the site as up to date as is possible, unfortunately sometimes there can be unexpected delays on products which become out of stock. Please note customers can always check availability via live chat or email. By UK law we are only permitted to charge shipping at cost - and indeed to do otherwise would make us uncompetitive. We actually charge less than it costs to send most items to your destination. Unfortunately, it can take up to 7 working days for items to arrive at your destination which contributes to the delay estimate we give customers. We certainly appreciate your frustration at finding items unavailable but we do assure you this is the exception rather than the rule. Dear Customer We note that your order was delivered on 13th July. This has certainly taken a lot longer than we would usually expect, we are sorry for any convenience. However, orders can sometimes be subject to delay in Mexico due to matters beyond our control. As you have now received your order we would be very grateful if you would consider revising your review.

Dear Customer We are very sorry to hear how problematic your order seems to have been. I have taken time to investigate this matter. It seems we received a telephone call from you at which time you agreed to return the shoes and we would refund your return shipping and send the correct item. We received the shoes back and were just about to send out the correct item when we received an email from you requesting a full refund. We are very sorry to have sent out the incorrect item. It will not be much consolation to hear that his is a rare event for us. However, we do no understand how the misunderstanding developed in relation to your return. We certainly endeavoured to do all we could to rectify the mistake. Odered items which showed where in stock . Completed checkout. They did not have items, so wasted 3 days chasing. Avoid

We are never content unless we receive 5 star reviews and reviews.co.uk has allowed us to respond and change in response to constructive criticism. So we were concerned to read that you were so unhappy with our services, we are very sorry that this is the case. Our policy is to reply to all emails within one working day, and in addition we provide live Internet chat services and telephone access. I would be very interested to hear why you found it difficult to communicate with us. There should be no reason for you to struggle for 3 days to contact us. However, if you can identify the difficulties you encountered we will endeavour to ensure this does not happen again. The item you ordered is a brand we do keep a lot of stock of, and in addition to this the brand themselves usually hold a lot of stock too, so in the vast majority of cases we can either supply customers directly from our own stock - or from the manufacturer. I think Lynne has already explained that unfortunately the brand do not let us know when they run out of stock - and this does unfortunately mean that very rarely we might not be able to supply a particular size or colour. However, by operating in this way, we are able to offer a much wider range of products at competitive prices - which we find our customers are very pleased with. We are sorry that you had such an unsatisfactory experience - I hope we might have persuaded you that this is an unusual occurrence. Ordered Grisport Everest boots over 2 weeks ago and have received nothing in the post. Shocking service considering that these boots can be delivered next day by a number of other suppliers for a similar price

Dear Mr Kirkham We are very sorry about your order and we share your frustration. We were initially told by our supplier that we could obtain your boot and we should have been able to deliver it to you within 6 to 8 working days as originally promised. Unfortunately, as we emailed you to advise yesterday, we were later told that the item would not be available for another 2-3 weeks. This was due to a mistake at the factory in Italy, We of course understand if you wish to cancel but less we hear from you otherwise we will keep the order and keep you updated as soon as we hear from Grisport. Having ordered the grey shoes I found black shoes had been supplies. To add insult to injury the price tag on the box indicated a price 30 pounds less than what I had paid. I have returned the shoes at my cost. $30 aus and am still waiting for a an outcome.

Dear Mr Kershaw Thank you for your review, we are very sorry to hear of the difficulties you have experienced. We are a little surprised - your review is the first we have heard of this incident. If you had contacted us we would have been quick to apologise and confirm that of course we will be responsible for your return shipping. We could also have arranged to send the correct pair. So please do accept our apologies and our assurance regarding the return shipping. We have not yet received the returned shoes. Perhaps if you could provide a tracking number for the shoes and if you could let us know when you sent them - we will know when to expect them. I am not sure about the price you refer to. I have checked our remaining stock of these styles and they are all correctly marked. The main point is that you paid the correct price for them - which I hope you would agree is quite a competitive price. At no point have these shoes been on sale for £30 less. Again, please accept our apologies for the frustration caused by this mistake - it is certainly not acceptable.
