Dear Customer Thank you for leave a review. We are sorry to discover you are so dissatisfied with the delivery time of your order. Having reviewed your order I think that we could have done a better job of keeping you informed of the delays - which is indeed our usual practice. Unfortunately this manufacturer in particular has been subject to low inventory and delays on replenishment. They have been very popular during lock down. Dear Customer Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As a small family run business, the satisfaction of our customers is paramount. We are very sorry that your order took so long to arrive - these problems were exacerbated by difficulties with restocking due to Brexit. I have spoken to the team regarding your order - they advised me that they took the time to telephone you rather than just emailing and indeed that you agreed to keep the order once we explained the difficulties following Brexit. Brexit related issues are becoming much less frequent now, our deliveries for most brands are back to normal. Took nearly 2 months to get the shoes I ordered but when they eventually came they were alright.

Dear Customer Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were disappointed to see we have only managed two stars. As a small family-run company customer service is very important to us. I have reviewed your order and see that you ordered from us 11th September and was delivered on the 30th October. This is indeed a lot longer than our usual delivery service and we are sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this has caused. This item was not in our immediate stock - which unfortunately does happen to all retailers from time to time. We were led to believe that the suppliers had a pair and we ordered them in good faith expecting to fulfil your delivery with three to five days as advised. Unfortunately, the item did not arrive so we chased it up with the supplier and one of our team telephoned you to discuss the options and the colours available. You chose to wait for the original colour from the manufacturer rather than take one of the colours we or the supplier could offer immediately. You were made aware that this would take significantly longer as it was not yet in stock with the manufacturer. Whilst we are sorry that you had to wait so long for your original order, we hope that you appreciated the efforts we went to in order to ensure you received the shoes of your choice. As a small family business, it is our intention to provide a trouble-free ordering experience and we are sorry that you found this delivery time too long. We have a large warehouse in addition to our shop stop, but as with every business sometimes stock requires replenishing which is what caused the slightly longer than usual delivery time. I note that we advised you the day after the order that the delivery time would be 6 to 10 working days. It actually arrived within 8 working days. My order was taken and I was told it would take around 3-5 days.After 6 days and no sign of it,I contacted you again to be told it was awaiting dispatch as it had been overlooked.I was told it would be sent that day for next day delivery.When it failed to appear,I made yet another phone call and it had been sent on 3-5day delivery and eventually arrived after Xmas. I had explained that it was urgent as I was post-op after a Knee Replacement and had no outdoor shoes as my former leg length discrepancy had been corrected and all my shoes had a raise and were unwearable. I feel the service was most unsatisfactory.

We are of course sorry to hear the footwear has not arrived - but if you would kindly use the tracking information provided at the time of despatch - you will see that an attempt was made to deliver your shoes but unfortunately you were not at home. Shoes were the wrong size! The box said the correct size - but no-one had checked that the shoes inside the box corresponded with the label.

It is totally wrong that you advertise shoes in stock when you do not have them in stock and they are subject to manufacture from the producer.

We do not like to see any customers unhappy with their shopping experience - and certainly not existing customers. It does seem as though you were particularly unlucky on this occasion - it is rare that we have to decline so many pairs. We have two floors of a warehouse and a retail shop full of stock - but it is impossible to have every size and colour always available. We do display some styles which we know are not in our immediate stock - but only if we know that they are immediately available - within a few days, from our suppliers. This allows us to offer a much wider choice of footwear than would be otherwise available. We know that not everybody reads the details of terms and conditions but we do state this on our website. The bag itself does not match up to expectations. Closing the flap is very difficult and it doesn't stay closed very long - the merest nudge and it opens. I'm very disappointed with it and would like to exchange it, even if I have to pay more money. I phoned Shoes International who told me to put it back in the wrapping and return it but I'd already recycled it so the assistant then said she'd send a returns label. That was several weeks ago and I'm still waiting.

Customer satisfaction is something we take very seriously, and whenever a problem arises we endeavour to put it right where possible. We have never had any issues with the bag previously - and the sort of problem you have encountered would have been difficult to detect before it was despatched. However, if items are faulty there is of course no problem with you returning them to us - and at present we do have a free returns offer. I have spoken to our team and they remember your call and are adamant that they did send the label. Dear Mr Barnes Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. We take our customer service very seriously and we are sorry to hear how unhappy you are following your order. I note that you ordered on the 14.11.16 and that we despatched your order to The Canary Islands via Royal Mail on 18.11.16 after sending several emails to keep you informed of the progress. The Tracking information we provided you with shows that the Parcel arrived in Spain on 25.11.16. Quite why it took so long to reach you from this day is indeed a puzzle but I hope you will appreciate that the matter was then in the hands of the Spanish postal service rather than ourselves. We advised you by email that unfortunately quite a number of our customers have experienced quite considerable delays receiving items in Spain recently. Whilst we certainly appreciate your frustration, I can only repeat that we are unfortunately not in a position to influence the Spanish postal service with individual parcels - we can only act when a parcel is missing for more than 25 working days - and even then it would simply be to provide you with a refund rather than influence the shipping. Whilst we cannot expect you to be pleased with the delivery time on this purchase, we would hope you might appreciate that we attended to all our obligations in a timely manner and that we share in your frustration at the delay. I strongly suspect that you would have experienced the same delay whoever you had ordered this from unless you had paid more expensive courier fees. Very pleased with my wide width sandals, they took a few months to receive but worth waiting for as they were being made especially to order. Unfortunately I am still waiting for other sandals ordered at the same time. more than 3 months have passed and no communication from shoes International. I was told about 12 weeks to wait for delivery, so perhaps it's time to chase them up!

Whilst we are of course pleased to hear how you like the sandals, we are sorry to discover you have only deemed us worthy of two stars. Customer service is a very important element of our business. It is therefore disappointing when we discover our customers have reason to be unhappy with the service they have received. I note that we advised you within one working day of the delay. Unfortunately it is not possible for any retailer to stock all the sizes, colours and fitting combinations offered by Waldlaufer - such is the breadth of their range. However we have found that because of the quality and fitting properties of their footwear that customers are prepared to wait, as long as they are kept informed. It seems this is where we have let you down. At the time you wrote your review the delay had become longer than the originally anticipated 12 weeks - and it would usually be our practice to email our customers with an update at this state. We are very sorry that this was not done. We will endeavour to ensure this does not happen in future. We are very sorry for any inconvenience or concern this has caused. Dear Customer Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your review. I wanted to be sure I had investigated this matter properly and had all the information to hand. When we receive poor reviews I use it as a prompt to audit our procedures to examine any areas where we might improve. My understanding is that on the day following your order we advised you of a delay until the end of March before the item would be ready for despatch and you accepted this. The item was despatched on the 1st April and arrived with you one working day later. All companies are occasionally out of stock of some items. When this does happen to us, we advise you promptly and give you the option to cancel. Since you decided to accept the delay and the parcel was delivered as expected we are a little surprised to discover you though our service was only worthy of two stars. However, having thoroughly examined all the process in this case I am confident that we have done everything we could have done. I hope that you might reconsider your assessment on reflection and that we might still retain your business, and of course that the footwear is serving you well.

Dear Customer We are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the delivery time on this order. We advised you a delivery period of 6-8 working days and we delivered it within in this time. Unfortunately it seems that Parcelforce took two days to deliver your parcel which is very usual and the reason for this is not indicated on the tracking information. We advised a longer delivery period because this order was placed at one of our busiest periods and there was a slight backlog in our despatch department. However, we generally find that this sort of delivery time is acceptable for our customers - particularly in view of the fact that it is a free delivery service. We hope this wont put you off ordering from us again - your order was subject to unusual delays due to shipping and seasonal issues and would normally have arrived a good few days earlier. Isso é muito mais do que o que normalmente seria antecipar mas parece que isso foi devido a uma retenção na alfândega. Lamentamos por qualquer inconveniente causado pela demora, mas nós esperamos que você vai apreciar não temos controle sobre o que acontece no Brasil estância aduaneira. However, we are never content unless we receive 5 star reviews so we are most disappointed that we should have only achieved 2 on this occasion. We want our customers to be happy with the whole ordering process, not just the product. I had a look at your order and I see you ordered on Boxing day, just before the weekend. According to the Royal Mail tracking information your parcel arrived with you within 6 working days. Whilst this is certainly longer than we would usual expect an order to take. However, at Christmas and New Year, delivery can take longer via our standard free delivery service. We are sorry if this caused any concern. The shipping was very slow. Obviously, they didn’t have my ordered shoes in stock and have to request them from manufacturer. Nothing on their website indicates if the item is available for immediate shipping or not. The shoes which I received looked very much like a demo pair – hints of creases on the upper side, some minor superficial scoffs. Again, nothing on their web site to indicate that condition. On the positive side – my questions regarding the size was answered quickly and efficiently, so no problem with support and communication at least.

Dear Mr Serebrennikov Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to hear of your experience, this is certainly well short of how we want our customers to feel after they have ordered from us. Hopefully our many other good reviews will help to reassure you that your experience is far from usual. We shipped your footwear on 21/01/14 with and our tracking information advised us it arrived on 01/02/14. Unfortunately shipping to Russia is sometimes prone to delay - which is why we advised you to expect your delivery within 20-24 working days - and in fact it arrived much sooner than this. We did indeed need to order your particular size in from our supplier - but we did advise you of this within 24 hours of placing your order. We do try to offer the widest range of footwear to our customers, which includes stock that we know is available from our suppliers at short notice. The boots you received were sent brand new from our supplier, so there should have been no issues with quality - all our products are quality checked before being shipped too - so it is particularly disappointing to hear about the conditions your boots were in.
