“As many reviews have noted, Shona Joy is a complete scam. They do not honor the return policy advertised on their own website. Attempts to reach customer service are futile- when they realize that you are emailing about returns they will completely ignore all future emails. Please avoid this fraudulent company- I lost hundreds of dollars after buying a wedding dress from them.”

“Do not order from the US unless you are positive you will keep your items. Dresses look beautiful online but when my dress arrived it’s cheap fabric made in China incredibly wrinkled for $360. Worst part is that although I used the size chart, the dress was too small. I measured and the dress was not true to their size chart. I reached out to their customer care and they told me the size chart is just an estimate. Now I lost $20 to ship this to me, and I had to pay $65 to ship it back. They really need to do better for their US customers. Unfortunately my friend wants to use this brand for her bridesmaid dresses so I am forced to repurchase. This experience literally ruined my week. I will be telling every girl I know getting married not to use this brand for bridesmaids dresses.”

“I was initially really excited to order and receive the dress from Shona Joy. I found one in the sale for £300 (which is still really expensive). But I always believe quality has a cost. I received the dress to the UK in good time. However, this £300 dress came scrunched up in a plastic bag, and the material is 'chiffon' so you can only imagine how creased this was! Anyway, always one to try and see past the bad parts, I though I can steam it, it's fine. But when you feel the quality of the dress, the material was so poor that if I had seen it in TK Maxx for £50, I would have though it was too much. The quality is incredibly poor. And the worst part is because it was a sale item, I can't return it! I am more than devastated to have to pay this much money for a dress I will never wear. I o ordered a brown coloured dress, and the colour in real life was just horrible. I have even thought about dying it in a bid to at least possibly maybe wear it. But £300 for polyester, is really a disgrace. Now, I'm stuck with a horrible dress. And I am mortified. Word of advice, do not buy anything from this company unless you can physically feel it or try it on and that you are happy with it! What an absolute waste of money. TRUST THE REVIEWS!!!!”

“DO NOT purchase from this company. They are a scam. Returned a dress because I couldn’t get married, they issued me a gift card that expired and now they refuse to reissue another one. STAY AWAY!!!!”

“I used Shona Joys "pick up" service as I had a last minute event! I got my garment in 24 hours from their head office and the girls were super lovely! This service was soooo helpful and literally saved me as I scurried to find an outfit last minute! I definitely recommend!!!”

“I'm between a size 8/10 and am larger in the hip/bum area compared to my top half. I usually feel uncomfortable in silhouette hugging dresses. Ladies let me tell you if you have a body shape like mine you will look AMAZING in the la lune lace back maxi! Love Shona Joy and there speedy delivery xx”

“This is truly the worst and most strange company i have dealt with. I purchased a dress $360 US Dollars, i come to find in their Australian website (which makes it the main one) that it was 360 AUD which would make it about $245 US. I emailed the company and their only response was that apparently thats how they do it. They charge the same price in different currencies. Which makes the same kind of dress, same horrendous quality, almost $120 more expensive if you buy international. Im not sure how legal this is but please be aware if you are buying outside of Australia or New Zealand as they will charge you double for clothes that are definitely not worth the price.”

“Ordered Shona Joy for my bridesmaids dresses! The customer service team were so lovely helping me return the ones that didn't I didn't end up choosing. I live in the US and was able to return for $30 through Parcel Monkey which they recommended to me.”

“DO NOT order from Shona Joy if you live in the US. I ordered bridesmaids dresses that arrived in a shipping bag that was ripped, with dresses falling out. When I reached out to customer service, they said I could return the dresses, but I was left with a $120 return fee to pay for on my own with USPS. It would have been over $450 with UPS!! The dresses are not good quality in person and definitely not worth $300+. I do not recommend.”

“Horrible company to deal with, no customer service whatsoever… Purchased a dress on line, buttons fell off in my hand whilst undoing the garment . Poor quality and also wrong sizing. I returned the dress and after 3 weeks and three emails ignored plus numerous phone calls I get told ‘we can’t do refunds at the moment and not sure when we will be able to’ This is disgusting and unacceptable!!! BUYERS BEWARE.”
