“I recently visited the ShopRite at Chamdor and had a disappointing experience. The customer service I received was subpar, and I left feeling frustrated. I waited for an excessive amount of time to be attended to, and when I finally was, the employee at the money market was unhelpful when an error occurred. To make matters worse, the till employee didn't apply the discount from my Extra Savings Card because I was only buying one item, which seems to be a misunderstanding of the program's policies.
Furthermore, I was alarmed to see water on the floor without a caution sign, which is a serious safety concern. As a customer, I expect a safe and respectful shopping environment. I hope ShopRite takes my feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to enhance the shopping experience. This includes improving customer service training, increasing staff efficiency, ensuring employees understand store policies, and addressing safety concerns.”
“Rude cashier called her friend who is a stock controller who acted to be a manager.Complained about the matter. This is the store by Durban station.Query was handed over to Umngeni road by mistake and they attended to the matter only to find it was the Durban station store. No feeback received from Durban station store.”
“I have been shopping at Shop Rite for many years but I will NEVER shop there again. I placed an online order. I never received notice that anything wasn’t in stock or if I wanted a substitution. I went to pick up the order just to discover that a third of it was missing!! There was no order summary listing what was missing just a cash register receipt. Customer service was horrific. I called and was kept on hold for 20 minutes just to be told I’d have to call back tomorrow!! I know it won’t affect their bottom line but I will never shop there again and I used to order about $500 a month. I guess I’ll go back to Giant and Safeway.”
