“I got this jacket on Saturday and wore it Sunday during a light drizzle with heavy wind on Sunday while on a bike ride—amazing blockage of the wind! Then on Wednesday did a 20 mile ride in pouring Seattle rain and my jersey was completely dry. Best investment!”
“My rating of Showers Pass is based on the responses to issues with my first two orders. The first was the Timberline jacket and pants. What appealed to me was the slimmer fit than others I have tried. The sizing chart indicated a size large for the jacket but I'm a big guy (5'11" and 200 lbs) so I exercised my own judgment in choosing XL. My biking gear, as opposed to civilian clothes, tends to run tight. The XL was too big. I returned it and staff was helpful in sending me the L version which fit perfectly. My second order was for a Refuge Jacket. I ordered it in L thinking it would fit perfectly like my Timberline jacket. Instead, it was a little tight and I returned it for an XL. There were no XL's to send me, however, because the goldenrod color was not in stock. The helpful person on the line said the jacket would be available in the fall in XL and the sales price would be available to me as it would be a substitute. Instead, I asked that they send the L back to me; I can wear it and it will motivate a little weight loss. All that said, I have not worn either one in the rain or on a bike. But SP's repeated asks for a review prompted this, in consideration of the thoughtful and practical ways in which staff have helped me get what I really want!”
