“I ordered a 3m oak with stainless end caps. After 12-14 days the rail and fittings arrived. On fitting, I noticed the oak rail was oval, and not to spec. I emailed customer services and was greeted with an email the following morning from Tammi. After supplying pictures of the issue a new one was dispatched without question. Turned up today (5 days in total) and all good. I can get the stairs finished now... Great customer service from Tammi to get the replacement out quickly and hoping it was a one-off, else some sort of quality check needs to be put in place with the parts before dispatch.”

“I was apprehensive about ordering from Simple Handrails as their prices were the best I found, but I needn’t have worried. I first emailed them about dimensions so that I could check I was ordering the correct sizes of glass and to check the dimensions of the base plates of the posts and they responded immediately, even though it was in the evening. Being concerned that I’d got my dimensions right I emailed a drawing and again they came right back to me. I placed the order and just under three weeks later the posts and glass were delivered to me in central Scotland. The glass being delivered by the company’s own driver. (To ensure it arrived undamaged) I finished installing my balustrade at the weekend and we’re delighted with the results. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Simple Handrails again or recommend them to anybody else considering using them.”

“Good but a bit rough in places even after a sand down and could have had pre drilled hole for end caps as is tricky to get hloe dead center for cap to be even”

“Hand rail comes with plastic screw on fixings which hold decorative steel end caps. The difficulty is that the plastic screw on fixings have to be aligned exactly central to the circular banister rail which can be very difficult- there are no pre-drilled holes or template. I ordered 2 rails - one of the rails had faulty plastic end / steel caps which meant that the steel caps keep falling off the plastic fixing - Went through customer support to get these replaced ....still waiting. Took over 10 days to get the rail and now waiting to get replacement caps.”

“Very stylish and looks good, there was a small issue where the bracket holes did not quite line up with the holes in the hand rail, I had to drill a bigger hole in the bracket but happy with the quality overall.”
