“Simple handrails are just that- simple and beautiful. I have an oak rail with pretty subtle brass fittings. The rail is smooth and comfortable to hold on to and looks perfect in an old cottage; similarly it would suit a minimal contemporary environment. I have ordered a second one in beech for another staircase. It has not been easy during the pandemic with reduced staffing etc but all calls have been answered and followed up. It is a shame that they use Tuffnels' delivery who are incompetent and rude.”

“I purchased a 3.2m American white oak handrail with antique bronze fittings. The wooden pole is well finished, of consistent diameter, and only required light sanding to remove machine marks and scuffs. The wood is free of knots or splits and is well seasoned. The metal fittings are of high quality, solid substantial castings and fit very well. Overall this handrail is a very good quality product which, if assembled and fitted properly, results in a strong, substantial, handrail of pleasing appearance. Thoroughly recommended, no adverse comments.”

“The quality of the goods was excellent - except the wall plugs supplied were too small, making the screws an impossibly tight fit to screw in - luckily I had some larger plugs and, even with those, it was an real effort to get the screws in. At least the rail won't pull off the wall! Communications could have been better - it was only when I heard from the carriers that I knew the goods had been dispatched and then they arrived a day later than originally advised.”

“Generally happy buy one section did have a rough part and was slightly bent where as the second part was beautiful Just a tip please mark dead centre for the end caps .... I screwed it up so its offset”

“Good quality product (this is my third handrail) but rather long delivery (10 days) . Only other comment is that handrail arrived in LARGE packaging big enough for Pickfords !!!!!!!!!!!!!! See photo .”
