Asked for 3 workers, got 2. My family ended up unloading alot of the truck ourselves or the guys would not have finished in two hours. The two men that were here worked hard but just needed extra hands because we were short a person. Expect some money back on charges two workers instead of three. Compared to the company that we hired to load the truck I would have to say they were much more efficient.

Movers were inexperienced and physically not up to the task. Complete disorganization characterized this offload and the inspection contract was shoved in my face before I took time to review it. That is partially my fault but they took almost twice as long to unload as the load crew and created chaos with the box placement. I cannot recommend this operation.

Virtually every piece of furniture was scratched. The movers didn’t use any of the furniture blankets I provided to protect our furnishings.

While the guys were nice & did a decent job, they were 45 min late bc of traffic & only worked 1 hr & 15 min. Since they were running late, I moved my own furniture until they came. The guys were apologetic but I know I could have hired guys for much less expensive & who would have been on time. I honored my commitment to use guys & feel incredibly disappointed.

They forgot it was our day to move so the ‘ professional stacker’ came 3 or4 hours after the initial move began. Damaged and/ or scuffed several pieces of furniture. That even after I paid for four dozen moving blankets per mover request. All in all probably $1,000.00 worth of damage. I wad told by Chris they’d send me a bill with a mac of three hours move tome, which I’ve still not received so I’ll have to verify withmyCC bill that actually took place!

Upset with the loading and unloading as coffee table, end tables have a bunch of scratch marks. People they use to hire are not the most professional, I would not recommend using you guys. Anthony

Loaders: very poor job wrapping furniture leaving gouges and scrapes. Threw 2 Fragile boxes on top. Boxes in poor shape when unloaded. They didn't know how to tie-down while loading. Who is paying for damage!! Unloaders: extremely professional. Took pictures of truck when opened, conditions of boxes; Very happy with this crew.

Had to change booking time and date 3 times after confirmation was send. Very confusing and frustrating especially for elderly parents and everyone else trying to coordinate their schedules. Seemed like none of the SML people knew what the other was doing. Also after telling SML the details of the move, the movers seem uniformed. In any case it was done but you may want address your internal and external communications. Thank you.

thought they did a good job. now i find out they did not load every thing i said was important to me. they did not finish loading my 2 picture frames 1 holds my military discharge papers the other is of my wife who passed a week later. my military jacket with the patch 1st cav i wore in Korea. a hanger holding ties and belts. a white cloth closet garment holder with a wedding gown and my only suit. all of these items were pointed out to the loaders but left behind .is there any chance this can be corrected .

The crew originally set to comer @ 2pm could not due to an injury. Sent another crew to be there at 5pm-arrived at6:15pM-Crew leader very careless, rude and caused damage not only to furniture being moved but to my house also which I am in process of filing claim. Spoke to John Monday who informs me my claim and pictures submitted OK but no info on Crew leader "Anthony" did not have with him and came to my house again next morning to have me sign. I put all damage I knew at that time on the form and now thy do not have it? Leads me to believe Anthony submitted another form for work. This was the most stressful move I have ever had.

The way that your loaders put everything on the truck, as soon as I moved the truck everything shifted. There were several things that were either damaged or destroyed. I thank you and your loaders for that...

It took 5 hours to load the equivalent of a 2-bedroom house. They seemed inexperienced and needed guidance on wrapping and stacking the items.

The packing of our truck was very bad, we bought the packing kit which had rope/shrink rape and tape, and also had 2 dozen blankets from the rental truck company and SML crew did not use any of them when loading the truck. As a result our goods shifted and dislodged on each other, no real damage accrued but made unloading difficult.

Laborers had poor communication, rushed, damaged items, didn’t follow instructions, acted annoyed when they needed to move furniture they put in the wrong place.

So, loading the truck seemed to go okay and without incident. Unloading, however....The guys were exceptionally polite and prompt. I watched them scrape a bureau at the bottom of the ramp and mark it it. Both of the guys looked over at me and I pretended to not notice and they said nothing. Several drawers of a dresser were rummaged through. Some handgun ammunition was taken. Several of my larger pieces were scraped. And an extra half hour was added to my bill. Who takes longer to unload something than load. Total unload time was well under two hours. As was agreed upon by the crew lead. Not a total disaster, but the unload team was different than the load team.

The men showed up on time and worked hard. However, most of my furniture was damaged. I would not recommend SML to others.
