“So I had no problem with the guys who load and unload but my problem was that I had damaged furniture. Sent on paperwork and photos within the 14 day window and it’s been over 6 weeks. No call back or resolution yet. Beware”

“The team was great!! It was a super cold morning, but we got it done quickly and with a great attitude. It would be five stars if they had been able to show up within the one hour ETA/start time. They provided one update on their ETA, but they didn't arrive until even later, beginning about 45 minutes after the latest start time. (I expected them between 8 and 9am. They arrived at 9:45 am.) I would ask for this crew again!”

“Movers on the front end were 3 hours later than expected. Movers for the unload were 3 hours later than expected as well. Didn’t receive proper communication from SML for my loading portion but the guys were very helpful once they arrived. The movers on my unload were very quick and finished in less than 2 hours.”

“Not sure how to rate our experience. The crew who loaded our rented truck in sub- zero weather in the midwest showed up promptly, were good guys, and polite. They had not received, from what we could see, any training or education on how to load a truck. They did their best and will, no doubt, improve with experience, but they could have used some seasoned guidance. The crew unloading our truck out west were clearly led by an older man who knew what to do and how to teach his 2 man crew. That and better weather made a huge difference. I would use SML again but that first 3 man crew really needed my husband’s help!”

“They put antiques against metal and scratched up many pieces. I provided more than enough blankets and they did not protect. They glass furniture at end and now I have broken glass in an antique. But 2 metal heavy footlockers on top of an antique wooded chest. Threw things on top of each other without protection in between.”

“It’s difficult because 2 men loaded the truck. The older gentlemen was hard working and kept things going. The young man was unacceptable. I even asked him if he was on drugs, because he literally was falling asleep, causing an injury to the other. When I asked if specific furniture was in the truck, he said yes! Then I found part of a headboard, part of the armoire, and a large mirror left in the dining room I had specifically asked and he responded yes it’s in the truck. When the furniture was unloaded the armoire was damaged I will send pictures. No, I would not recommend to others.”
