About Simply LED:

Our mission is a simple one: to make it easy for you to find high quality, low cost LED light bulbs.

Buying light bulbs can be a complicated business at the best of times, but it need not be. Our team has over fifty years of experience in the lighting industry, so who better to help you find what you’re looking for? If you have any questions about LED lighting, we can answer them.

We’ve always believed that high quality doesn’t have to mean high prices, so we are passionate about offering good, reliable LED light bulbs that don’t cost the earth.

We source all of our lighting ranges from reputable factories, and every product has to be up to our strict standards to go on sale on our site. If we don’t like it, we won’t sell it.

“Fitted just as easily as replacing the 4' failing fluorescent tube, plug in the dummy starter, switch on and hey presto! Almost instant light, brighter than the original tubes, no fuss, no bother and half the power consumption. I expect it will pay for itself within a year or two.”

“The GU10 nextgen2 bulbs for ceiling mounted bulbs are excellent. However, the candle led bulbs have melted and over-heated. Not so impressed. The deliveries are excellent and the product luminosity has exceeded expectation for the GU10, but the candle bulbs are not very good.”

“Lights were well described on the website, if anything they underplay the quality of the units I bought. Delivery has been very rapid both times I've ordered. LEDs are the way for me.”

“The site was easy to order from, and I quickly found the bulbs I wanted. The LED bulbs were only slightly more expensive than the old-fashioned ones. The bulbs came quickly and well packed. I had an email from them saying I had not finished my order, but as I had already received a confirmation, this was obviously a glitch. Not a problem, and I can recommend the service.”

“In a fast changing market I have found LED lights very acceptable and little difference on changing from standard bulbs. Prices are slowly dropping. I have had a few issues with bulbs not lasting more than a few weeks and then it is very difficult to claim the guarantee as (1) I can't remember when a bought specific bulbs and (2) finding guarantees for light bulbs a bit OCD. I have also had a very low delivery on one occasion (out of about 10) when the bulbs took more than a month to arrive. They are not quick with delivery and orders can take 3 weeks plus to arrive. I have swapped all the light bulbs in the house and my electricity bill has dropped.”

“When you get through to them customer services are great but they are very slow to reply to the web form. In my case I returned some goods for a refund and didn't receive any email acknowledgement of receipt of the goods or the refund being processed. A second order was delayed due to stock shortage but no email was sent and I had to chase it up a week later. Also I received confusing emails telling me I'd got goods in my basket which I hadn't checked out. This wasn't true - on logging in I found the basket was empty. The website and products are great. I am seriously impressed by the latest generation of instantly-on bright LED lamps and I have no doubt that a few hundred quid spent here will save me thousands in the long run.”

“Recommended by a work colleague. Ordered 2 LED GU10 bulbs to replace one that had only lasted a few months. The ordering process was simple and straight forward and the items arrived a few days later. Hopefully I will not have to use the 2 year warranty!”

“I ordered six LED bulbs for our lounge, having become fed up with the three minutes it took our light fittings to get to full brightness with fluorescent bulbs. It was easy to navigate SimplyLED's website and to make comparisons. I ordered warm white bulbs which arrived well-packaged in a cardboard box with internal packing and a "fragile" warning on the outside, within a couple of days. Each bulb was in an individual cardboard box, again with internal packing, and I thought the bulbs were as well-protected as you could hope for. Each bulb was easy to fit and all gave instant full brightness. The colour was almost daylight rather than a yellow white (not blue, just white). We are very pleased with the performance of the bulbs and the supplier. It's good to get back to lights that work fully when you switch them on and to avoid having to apologise to guests for the dimness of the lighting when we have visitors. The bulbs were also the cheapest I have found so it's been a good buy.”
