“As someone who used to LOVE the gym (and various other fitness studios over the years), I NEVER thought I would find an at-home program that I respect and enjoy so much that I choose to keep it as my primary workout, despite everything having reopened post-Covid. It still feels like group fitness, but with the convenience of being in your home, on your own schedule/timetable. I cannot begin to count the number of hours I save - from the drive time to having to get to class early to make sure you get a spot. He offers live classes three times a day on most days, at super convenient times. I travel a fair amount with one of my kids for a sport and knowing that I will get an amazing workout on the road is priceless. If I happen to miss one of the live classes, I just do it on demand a little bit later. I constantly have people asking what I am doing in random hotel gyms up and down the east coast. :) I know it's that time of year when everyone is starting with a clean slate. Despite having spent a lot of time in gyms, I still think they are super intimidating, which is yet another reason why I love this format. If you want to go hard, you can leave your camera on and Jacob will push you to go even harder and faster and to "give more." If you are less experienced, you can tell him and even leave your camera off; he encourages everyone just the same. He also gets to know people very quickly - what they respond to, what motivates them, how hard he can push them, etc. I have to mention his absolutely lovely wife, Juliann. She does the workouts live with him when she can and she is just awesome. She is his biggest supporter and also his best advertising - she looks unbelievable after two kids and I have never seen someone bounce back that quickly! They are kind, wonderful people through and through, who truly care about their "fit family."
Those are just the logistics! The workouts themselves are killer, in the best possible way! At the same time, there are people of all different fitness levels and Jacob always offers modifications (or, for example, if you are injured or pregnant). No two workouts are ever the same and Jacob will tweak a format (it's amazing what a huge difference a small change can make!) and add new classes every few months - it keeps your body guessing and also keeps things fresh and fun. Also, my kids do it with me sometimes and love when Jacob calls their names and encourages them. If anyone has young athletes wanting to do extra or train in the off-season, this workout is not just for the grownups!
I am extremely fussy/picky (to put it mildly) about my workouts. I believe that movement is medicine and my workout is the one time during the day that belongs to me; it is my daily therapy session and I take that seriously! I am a creature of habit, love all things fitness, and would never recommend something that I don't fully believe in. I am in better shape now than I ever have been, even at 40 after two kids! Try it for a week or two and I promise that you will be hooked!”

“I cannot emphasize enough the quality of these workouts. It is high caliber training in the comfort of your home at an affordable price, but the magic of Jacob is his ability to build community and accountability through the screen. I took live classes when I started, and after going back to work had to transition to an on-demand only membership, but throughout it all I have felt engaged in the classes and like I am right there in the room. And the workouts are always interesting, challenging, but supported by options to make it doable for all levels. On days where I am not feeling 100%, I am able to take a class and cater the workout to what I need. On days where I am, I am challenged in the best way possible and defying what I thought were my limits. And I am seeing results and excited to stick to his workout schedule given the never boring classes.
