“Yes I like 60 +me. The articles are appropriate for our age group and a good read.
Not sure about other members/readers but even the single women are not all as privileged as you in being able to travel to foreign places.
Here in the UK a lot of women an especially 60+ may be renting in social housing and if absent for too long or too often they would lose their home!
Just a thought”
“Inspiring, positive life building topics giving great tips and ideas for making our later years a platform for further personal growth, rather than a time of dread of physical, personal decline.”
“It isn't just one topic you cover in your newsletter but all of them. I have shared your website with friends. It is relevant, interesting and look forward to hitting my email box.”
“Margaret who operates Sixty and Me is an inspiration to many of us who are ageing, as we tune in from all over the world to listen and read her wisdom. She brings us together from everywhere through her website with discussions from travelling, hair tips for fine hair, the benefits of meditation and yoga as we age, to the rewards of swishing with coconut oil. The range of articles and videos on the website is vast and advises us on loneliness, dating, health, clothes and how to enhance our looks as we age. It all makes terrific reading is enlightening, informative and enjoyable. Sixty and Me bestows us with confidence as we age, and inspires baby boomers to be more bold and daring in their everyday life. A big thank you Margaret and much appreciated. Perth Australia.”
“Firstly it's so hopeful that the over 60's are being thought of as a viable section of the community.
We are very often intelligent, current and form the backbone of that very community yet are widely neglected commercially.
Sixty and me addresses many of those issues and I particularly enjoyed the yoga series.
I am 60 and I am a wife, mother, artist, volunteer and have never been more active or switched on.
I am also a consumer and sixty and me addresses this without any condescension......that alone guarantees loyalty”
“What I like most of all is the range of positive experiences that are portrayed in the articles. I'm 58, living in the UK, and in the past few years have been dreading the ageing process, having seen both my parents go thru it in a negative and unattractive way. Reading these articles and the advice makes me think there is another way that it could go. That's not to say it will be easy but it is possible, which I didn't think before I found Sixty and Me.”
“I enjoy the range of topics related to my age, gender, and overall interests and concerns. It is thought provoking and inspiring to those of us facing issues of aging yet wanting to do so graciously. Keep the conversations going. Inspire us to not give up but continue to live life with gusto and excitement.”
“Its great to find a web site dedicated to the 60+ age group. Although I live in Essex England Its interesting to see that women of our age group all have similar interests and problems.
I hope a lot more British women join this site so friendships can be made closer to home but I really enjoy reading the site and watching the videos,.Its very encouraging to find we hopefully have a lot of life left and we shouldn't be written off as old. We just need the confidence , a little support and encouragement to move into this different stage of our lives,Thank you”
“I always read the the articles and appreciate the newsletter.
I would like it if there woud be given more attention to woman with the hairdecease Alopecia. Most People think that you have had a chemotherapie. How do other woman manage with it. Do they always wear the wig and how do they react at reactions of people in their surrounding.”
“I'm 69 and love the Sixty & Me community. The articles and comments from women of my own age group are so supportive and encouraging. Seeing other women bucking the "trend" and refusing to go quietly into the night has encouraged me to do the same. Continuing with my writing, and this year have started learning art and music. I have a 20 year plan..... So thank you.
