“The website is annoying and tricky, i made an order (one single order) they charged me 3 times the same order saying that it was a subscription due to promotional price, good detail is that i don't even have an accound and now i have to pay to return the products at my costs to get a refund! “My experience is actually a 0/5 , I waited weeks for my products and they never arrived. Numerous emailes over 4 weeks and numerous requests to speak to someone in Management to resolve my issue the best they could was offer me free shippping. I did get some of my order and the balance in a refund and the refund was for bundles that were no longer available but every product was available on the website. I placd my order on the 9th May and recieved it on the 3rd July. The customer service is the worst I have ever in my life encountered. As a business owner myself I would be horrified if my staff ever treated a person that way. As the offer of free shipping was a gesture all I wanted was to speak or get a email from Management regarding my order.
If you treat all off your customer queries the way mine was treated you will have no customers left.”

“I have used this company since last October and never had a problem with delivery until now. My order from 1st June is still not here I have asked them to reship on the the 25th and there is still sitting as unfulfilled. I place another order on the 18th hoping it would come before the 1st order and that has a tracking number but never reached Royal Mail. I am so disappointed in the customer service. “Website freezes and is stuffed full of adverts and options to up sell. Can't find nutritional data for some items and when you can it's based on tiny portions (eg 5g). Sneaky practice defaulting to weekly deliveries and you can't easily see it as pop up arrives and you scroll down and faint mention is hidden, not shown on the next screen, no idea what happened next as screen froze again as a pop up blocked page and no way to close it down. Watched Fb posts disappear today and no live chat or phone number so gave up trying to access information. Saw lots of people querying why deliveries from 1st June outstanding. Not worth the risks so bought elsewhere.”

I placed a order 20 days ago with this firm and I still haven’t received my order. I’ve messaged them multiple times and the reply I always get is “leave it another week” which I don’t think is good customer service.
I’ve asked for a refund numerous times and keep getting denied the refund, even though I’ve not got my order?
The attitude of the customer service advisors is disappointed, they don’t want to help at all.
Do not buy from here, the service is rubbish, I am being genous giving them a one star!! (I don’t have any other option). Try Jordan’s as an alternative they’re service is great! And product is miles better.”

If you don’t realise you have signed up to a subscription you should be able to send the items back and get your money back. “I am a new customer to the Skinny Food Co and have yet to try any of their products therefore i am basing this review only on the business and customer service, not the products. I wont waste my time writing extensive comments outlining the problems i faced, a good company should have already identified things that irritate customers from the reviews i read here and fixing them. I will therefore summarise:
1) The website from first visit bombards the life out of you with popups - for offers and marketing gimics that annoy the heck out of you. The website also loads very slowly on some pages which i lost interest in very quickly.
2) I ordered 3 sauces as a one off and by default i was enrolled in a subscription for further orders whereby the company can help myself to my bank account indefinitely. Perhaps there is some obscure box the customer has to DEACTIVATE to prevent a subscription but by DEFAULT you are enrolled. I then had to create an account on their website to cancel the subscription. I have seen other companies do this and it is despicable. I'd imagine many a elderly person has fallen prey to this behavior. I wonder if the BBC's Watchdog program would be interested in this.
3) I ordered at 06:58am, realised i was forced into a subscription and at 08:25am emailed to cancel my order. I immediately received an email back from one of their representatives with a stock email that didnt address my cancellation. Later in the day after sending several more emails they told me it was now too late to cancel and the goods ARE BEING SHIPPED whether i wanted them or not. If they would've cancelled my order after my first email i would not have to pay for return postage when i send the products back for a refund. This is another tactic of a bad company - delay response until the goods are shipped and then maybe the customer will get bored and keep the products rather than pay to send back for a refund.
4) My opinion only: The glowing reviews on their website are fake. No-one seems to have had any issue with the above (obviously repeatable) problems. There are also reviews on TrustPilot that corroborate this.
I hope this review actually makes it to the company owner and it dawns on him that reputation is king. Bad business practices such as the above will eventually lead to bad reviews and your sales will fall.”

So upset about the way I have been treated over this, I am currently furloughed so money is tight, surely some goodwill from them would be nice, but no!
