“Very happy with my order. Great deals, wide variety, amazing products. From reading the useful information that is on the Skinny Food Co website, I’ve learnt so much about ingredients used in standard supermarket products and how you can easily be misled and tricked into eating more sugar, calories and other undesirables. Such as the use of maltodextrin! It’s a complete con. It is cheap and bulks up products like sweetener so you are paying for 95% rubbish and 5% of actual sweetening agent (e.g. Sucralose). Legally, maltodextrin can be classed as a carbohydrate on the nutritional information table but practically all of it sugars. So, that innocent little tub of sweetener you bought from your local supermarket that you think is the “healthier option”, is actually also just sugar, with a classification technicality and a smidgen of actual low-cal/no-cal sweetener. Ridiculous! I would far rather pay for pure Sucralose at Skinny Foods than pay for a tub of lies…I mean, a tub of sugar dressed up as an innocent, “lighter” option that just worsens my health.
The products that Skinny Food make are delicious and are made with quality ingredients so I have no worries about feeding them to myself and my family. They also have options for people such as myself who have specific dietary requirements and intolerances. Finally, they always have sales, discounts or events where you can save money so you can find what fits your budget. Would recommend to everyone!”
